Jamie and his team have just recently completed our garden transformation. They have done an incredible job, and we are so happy with it. Cannot rate Birchwood Landscapes enough. Jamie and the team completed a huge garden project for us and gave us our dream garden. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole team was fantastic. We had arranged for several quotes but Jamie was the first one to turn up and we were so impressed with his attitude and knowledge that we didn’t even bother with anybody else. The guys came today to prune back some shrubs, trim the hedges and remove some branches off a sycamore tree.....all in the pouring rain! They did a great job, were super helpful and friendly, and cleared everything away. Very happy and will definitely use them again. Thank you very much

My fence panels went through it this winter, despite trying my best to keep them standing they gave up the ghost during Storm Pia last month. So fence research happened, and ALS were the ones that stood out with prompt communication and action from a fabulous team. From Tony providing my best options and quotes, to Kenny and Elvis enduring the temperatures and grafting so incredibly hard through some tricky conditions to deliver a very secure garden fence that will apparently outlive me (see accompanying before/after images for context). Wow, what can we say except that right from the outset we knew we had chosen the right company to complete our project. This is a very professional team with very high standards. All the staff are polite, cheerful and punctual. The attention to detail is impressive and it shows in the high quality work they produce. Tom and his team fitted artificial grass to our property. We are really pleased with the work. Tom is very professional and we have no issues with the work whatsoever. His price was reasonable and the job was completed on time and he was very flexible when the delivery of the grass from Grassdirect got mucked up and this put the job back.

Wow - what a little gem! Had a couple of hours to kill in the local area and came across this cafe and garden centre. A lovely warm welcome and a log burner followed by what could possibly be the best sausage bap I’ve ever had. Great coffee and choice of cakes as well. Will certainly be back next time we’re passing.

Visited today for breakfast and can honestly say it was the nicest breakfast I've had. Sausage was gorgeous, the whole breakfast was fresh, very tasty and well cooked. Great garden centre, with lovely items in the shop to buy, which I did after the great breakfast. Must add that the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Will definitely be visiting again. An independent garden centre so a great range of giftware, household and foodie stuff hand picked by owners Bill and Nina. The usual gardening essentials also on offer with lots of good quality plants and seeds. Tasty and good value food and drinks in the cafe, served by friendly staff. The roaring log burner will quickly warm you up!

Lovely friendly garden centre, a good size with plenty to see but not too big to overwhelm.... (A perfect size) good parking right outside the garden centre with a smashing Caffe.....we had a coffee & scone, tea and sausage roll which was very good.

Excellent in every aspect. Andy and Steve are brothers who work well as a team. Very charming, keen and hard working. They have a brilliant knowledge of plants, design and use a variation of shape and colour in the plants, linking everything to the surroundings. Very artistic in their work. We contacted these guys to design the outside areas after completing a self build. They produced a plan for a low maintenance area as requested and completed it to a very high professional standard. I have an Allotment here, so visit regularly. The committee are just finishing off an earth toilet. We have newly installed water containers, so water is on tap when needed. The committee are very active and hold various community activities throughout the year. There is an annual show which is popular and very well attended

We got our plot about three years ago. As novice gardeners it's taken us a while to get organised and get the plot as we want it. Each plot provides plenty of space and we've got flowers, veg and fruit growing on ours. We've been made to feel very welcome and everyone's been happy to provide us with help and advice as we've needed it. It's a very peaceful place to just get away and enjoy the great outdoors.

One of this worlds best kept secret places. For many its a second home, surrounded by great friendships and an abundance of nature in all its glory. Iconic views over the River Humber and the famous Bridge too. Its a place to grow - flowers, vegetables & herbs - as well as better health and feelings of wellbeing. I had the privilege of being able to work with Jake and his team on our (private housing) estate. We are a bit different from normal "private" estates we have almost all the community grassland in the village. Whether it was mowing the verges or maintaining the football pitch and playing field nothing was too much trouble for him. Rick and his team have done an impressive job replacing the scraggly patchy grass with artificial grass. Their work ethic is fab, they arrive at 0800 and work solidly throughout the day , they are great to have around friendly and polite with a gsh. I appreciate we chose the very good quality grass but it wouldn’t be anywhere near as fabulous if the preparation work hadn’t been done correctly. I thoroughly recommend Rick and his fab team, so much so, they’re coming back to replace the very uneven patio.

From day one, the team were extremely supportive of the ideas for renovation and adaptable when the circumstances changed; especially when the scope kept expanding, adding further tasks. L&R have transformed a wild front and back garden into 7 new areas. Out went the untamed boarders, shrubs and brambles, in came a blank canvas back to seeded grass; wrap around patio across the whole of the rear of the property; new off-road gravel parking, 3 wonderful bespoke sheds, wooden gazebo ready for Lazy spa/hot tub or winter outdoor seating area; new concrete driveway linking the front drive to the rear garden; and a new first impression front garden with new paths and drain covers. Throughout the project, the team were professional and hard working, cheerful during challenging moments, and adaptable when the weather changed. We are extremely grateful to L&R and the service they provided. Looking forward to enjoying the garden in 2025.
