The allotments is such a fantastic place, where you can work hard cultivating your veg or flowers or sit back and have a chat with a 'brew'.

Great community, who have passion for everything allotment related.

We got our plot about three years ago. As novice gardeners it's taken us a while to get organised and get the plot as we want it. Each plot provides plenty of space and we've got flowers, veg and fruit growing on ours. We've been made to feel very welcome and everyone's been happy to provide us with help and advice as we've needed it. It's a very peaceful place to just get away and enjoy the great outdoors.

I have an Allotment here, so visit regularly. The committee are just finishing off an earth toilet. We have newly installed water containers, so water is on tap when needed. The committee are very active and hold various community activities throughout the year. There is an annual show which is popular and very well attended

We used Alexander Hubbard Ltd to remove the conifer hedge at the end of our garden. The guys did a fantastic job. The team were polite and efficient. The job was very reasonable priced. The clean up afterwards was exceptional. I highly recommend this team. Thank you!

The guys came today to prune back some shrubs, trim the hedges and remove some branches off a sycamore tree.....all in the pouring rain! They did a great job, were super helpful and friendly, and cleared everything away. Very happy and will definitely use them again. Thank you very much

I contacted Andy early Spring as our gate and gatepost were closed to falling down due to a rotting timber post. Andy visited within an hour of me contacting him and surveyed the job and quoted me within 24 hours. The work has just been completed to an incredibly high standard. Andy is a great guy, very experienced, works really hard, is meticulous in his approach, and uses good products. He replaced some terracing for us and installed handrails, fencing and a gate. His pricing was very reasonable. He prepared and tidied the site thoroughly. We are very pleased with the result, would highly recommend him, and certainly ask him back if we needed his services.

My fence panels went through it this winter, despite trying my best to keep them standing they gave up the ghost during Storm Pia last month. So fence research happened, and ALS were the ones that stood out with prompt communication and action from a fabulous team. From Tony providing my best options and quotes, to Kenny and Elvis enduring the temperatures and grafting so incredibly hard through some tricky conditions to deliver a very secure garden fence that will apparently outlive me (see accompanying before/after images for context). We contacted these guys to design the outside areas after completing a self build. They produced a plan for a low maintenance area as requested and completed it to a very high professional standard. Creative Gardens: Prompt, courteous,tidy, cheerful,hard workers who cleared a lot of grass did manual digging against the odds when machinery could not be used, laid beautiful paths and super steps. Thoughtfully shaped the garden in my small space. Heartily recommend them. Price very fair .

Lovely friendly garden centre, a good size with plenty to see but not too big to overwhelm.... (A perfect size) good parking right outside the garden centre with a smashing Caffe.....we had a coffee & scone, tea and sausage roll which was very good.

Visited today for breakfast and can honestly say it was the nicest breakfast I've had. Sausage was gorgeous, the whole breakfast was fresh, very tasty and well cooked. Great garden centre, with lovely items in the shop to buy, which I did after the great breakfast. Must add that the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Will definitely be visiting again. Wow - what a little gem! Had a couple of hours to kill in the local area and came across this cafe and garden centre. A lovely warm welcome and a log burner followed by what could possibly be the best sausage bap I’ve ever had. Great coffee and choice of cakes as well. Will certainly be back next time we’re passing.

From day one, the team were extremely supportive of the ideas for renovation and adaptable when the circumstances changed; especially when the scope kept expanding, adding further tasks. L&R have transformed a wild front and back garden into 7 new areas. Out went the untamed boarders, shrubs and brambles, in came a blank canvas back to seeded grass; wrap around patio across the whole of the rear of the property; new off-road gravel parking, 3 wonderful bespoke sheds, wooden gazebo ready for Lazy spa/hot tub or winter outdoor seating area; new concrete driveway linking the front drive to the rear garden; and a new first impression front garden with new paths and drain covers. Throughout the project, the team were professional and hard working, cheerful during challenging moments, and adaptable when the weather changed. We are extremely grateful to L&R and the service they provided. Looking forward to enjoying the garden in 2025.

I had the privilege of being able to work with Jake and his team on our (private housing) estate. We are a bit different from normal "private" estates we have almost all the community grassland in the village. Whether it was mowing the verges or maintaining the football pitch and playing field nothing was too much trouble for him. Always flexible and always ready to listen as well as offer advice, I can thoroughly recommend Jake and Dyne Services!

Jake came to remove a diseased tree from our garden. He did a great job for a very reasonable price. He left everything neat and tidy, and we were pleased that he realised he would need to disinfect his tools afterwards. We were very pleased with his work.
