Excellent in every aspect. Andy and Steve are brothers who work well as a team. Very charming, keen and hard working. They have a brilliant knowledge of plants, design and use a variation of shape and colour in the plants, linking everything to the surroundings. Very artistic in their work. Willing to help and will discuss and consider every decision with you, the client. Very tidy and leave everything perfectly. Would recommend them to anybody interested.

We contacted these guys to design the outside areas after completing a self build. They produced a plan for a low maintenance area as requested and completed it to a very high professional standard. Creative Gardens: Prompt, courteous,tidy, cheerful,hard workers who cleared a lot of grass did manual digging against the odds when machinery could not be used, laid beautiful paths and super steps. Thoughtfully shaped the garden in my small space. Heartily recommend them. Price very fair .

Richard recently transformed a featureless block paved area into a relaxing courtyard garden. Creating a clearly defined wheelchair accessible path that allows perfectly smooth transition to other garden areas. Screening an unglamorous oil tank and constructing picket fencing and gates. He carefully excavated planting beds by hand to a good depth being careful of underground pipes and electricals. He consulted regularly to ensure I was happy with his interpretation of my design and always left the site tidy and safe at the end of the day. He was happy to use recycled materials keeping costs and waste minimal. Very happy to recommend Richard

Richard completed some astroturf, gravel and block paving in out front garden. As you can see in the pictures the finished article is superb. Richard was meticulous throughout every stage of the job and was really neat and tidy cleaning up as he went along. Super happy with the end result and would highly recommend for all types of landscaping jobs. Extremely competitive pricing too.

Richard worked so very hard when he came to lay down a Porcelain Oak Cortina patio around our potting shed - unlike normal paving, these are planks so look like Oak & it was a large area for him to cover & he certainly knows what he's doing. Very professional, but very friendly & helpful in all the work he undertook & at the finish of the job he cleaned the drive where he'd been mixing etc. He's very methodical & meticulous & we're delighted with the outcome.

My fence panels went through it this winter, despite trying my best to keep them standing they gave up the ghost during Storm Pia last month. So fence research happened, and ALS were the ones that stood out with prompt communication and action from a fabulous team. From Tony providing my best options and quotes, to Kenny and Elvis enduring the temperatures and grafting so incredibly hard through some tricky conditions to deliver a very secure garden fence that will apparently outlive me (see accompanying before/after images for context). Wow, what can we say except that right from the outset we knew we had chosen the right company to complete our project. This is a very professional team with very high standards. Luke did an amazing job in transforming the front of my house from grass to beautiful black ice stone. The end result was just perfect and he was tidy and cleaned the site after he had finished. We had some bad damage to our fence panels after the storm and we reached out to Luke at Tayton on Saturday and by Wednesday AM it was all completed. MGS recently took down conifers, 3 trees and fence which was no mean task. Mitch the main man was true to his word and did everything I asked, with also making suggestions if it would improve things when putting up the new fence. The fence looks amazing and already I have had several people comment. He cleaned up every evening to make it easy for my dog to go out in the garden. When we originally requested a quote. Mitch came to the house and came up with some better ideas on how to improve our garden. The quote came through very quickly. Fantastic! I rang Mitch as I had been scammed and lost a lot of money. Mitch was happy to help and really looked after me on price. My garden was left a mess and Mitch turned up the next week to fix it. I can not thank Mitch and Ben enough for how they have helped me out. Absolutely 5*, fantastic price, the best quality top soil I’ve ever purchased, not a single stone or lump, the turf is perfect, cut fresh and delivered the same day, laid perfectly and with plenty of water it took straight away, it’s grown great, lovely lush green, no weeds. 100% recommend Hykeham turf and top soil, from the first phone call/order everything went smoothly.

I had three tons of topsoil delivered in the summer. Access was difficult but presented no problem for the delivery man. Price was good and service was very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend.
