I would highly recommend GBL 100%! In all the home improvements I have ever done in my lifetime, this is the best money well spent for me. Out of the many quotes I had, I was convinced by GBL professionalism and how detailed they were about the design of my garden and I decided to give him a go. The price was very reasonable, he involved me in the selection of material choices before purchasing them, he made sure I was happy with the choice. Wayne and his team were very punctual, never missed a day of work, he kept to the promise of finishing in 10 days and they delivered exactly 10 days. He made the work stress free, cleaned after themselves and not a single mess was left and there was no damage to my property whatsoever. Wayne and his team did a fantastic job in transforming our garden. It was in poor condition following construction work but is now the finishing touch for our new home. Wayne took our basic brief and made some suggestions. He provided a detailed quote that covered all our needs. His timescale estimate was spot on. The work was performed in a professional manner with the site left tidy every night. It has been an enjoyable project and I can highly recommend GBL Landscapes for any garden work you may require. Our project included clearing the site, removing the old lawn along with some shrubs & boulders, installation of a porcelain path, new fencing and gate, sleepers to border the lawn, some new beds topped with crushed slate and a beautiful new lawn.

Wayne was excellent. Definitely recommend this company they were very professional when helping me with fencing and garden clearance after an elderly relative died. I live a long way from the property so everything was dealt with by phone but Wayne made it really easy to deal with the job remotely and my trust in him was well placed they worked quickly and efficiently sending me photos throughout so I knew what was going on. Very pleased with their work.

Adam and a colleague came round to assist us with maintaining our front our rear garden. Adam was patient and took time to listen our requirements, offering useful recommendations. The work was completed to a very high standard, with clear attention to detail. We are so pleased to have found EV and without hesitation happy to have EV back on a regular basis to help us maintain our gardens.

I cant recommend Adam enough. Used his services to transform our concrete patio following negative feedback from potential buyers. After inviting a number of gardeners to share their ideas, I was most impressed by Adam. He listened carefully to my requirements and put forward a design which was both attractive and cost effective. Following his re-design of my patio, I received a number of offers with each specifically commenting on how beautiful our outdoor space was. Moving forward, I won't be using anyone else. Lovelly garden, this is my second visit... first was a rainy weather and was a quick visit... however today wss full sunny day ! How pleasant that was... a lot to explore and I will advise to think a minimum of 3 h to enjoy at a calm pace ! Is a wheelchair friendly site,please note there are mobility scooters to hire if you require. Mother had her own wchair so was no need this time ... better as some gardens are tiny and better accessible with something smaller or if you can walk for a short distance... There is a cafe at entrance/exit you can have aome refreshments... and there are nice picnic tables outdoor too! Will be back!

Lots to see, including a small animal area with quite a variety of species (Inc wallabies!). Great ideas for plants and planting. Various sample gardens which provide ideas, eg for front gardens, and some relocated Chelsea show gardens. A large site with some areas looking a little neglected but a lovely afternoon out. And very quiet when I visited.

Very nice place with plenty of flowers, trees, fruits and veggies to see. Mini zoo was also fun with few opportunities to see animals being fed. The maze was also good fun too. There is also a cafe with indoor seating and nice outdoor seating as well. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and everyone enjoyed the day. Paid £39 and parking was free. Would be nice to have small playground for the kids.

A lovely place to wander around in nature. The gardens are beautiful with a wide range of trees and plants. Some of the trees are huge, they feel as if they’ve been there for centuries, which some of them might have been! We enjoyed the small zoo, which has an interesting array of animals. The kookaburra was hilarious when it started calling out and the goats were very entertaining with their head butting. The children that were there seemed to be having fun exploring the gardens and seeing the animals. The gardens are wonderfully calming, there’s a fairy forest, woodland path, walled garden, a holly maze, lake and so much more. Saw several people just sitting enjoying the views and the calm. At the start of your visit there is a small shop where you can pick up indoors and outdoor plants. Once through the doors you have the cafe and toilets. The cafe is functional, but only serves cooked food between 12-2, which does limit you if you’re planning on eating there. Drinks and snacks were available after that. Just outside the cafe is an area you can sit and eat and around that area are a number of small gardens which are lovely and each one is very different. One of my favourite parts of the gardens is the area with the ruins of the old Manor House which explains some of the history. Also around the site are several folly’s, on closer inspection what looks like an old ruin turned out to be much more recent! A lovely day out and I’ll be going back soon.
