Lovelly garden, this is my second visit... first was a rainy weather and was a quick visit... however today wss full sunny day ! How pleasant that was... a lot to explore and I will advise to think a minimum of 3 h to enjoy at a calm pace ! Is a wheelchair friendly site,please note there are mobility scooters to hire if you require. Mother had her own wchair so was no need this time ... better as some gardens are tiny and better accessible with something smaller or if you can walk for a short distance... There is a cafe at entrance/exit you can have aome refreshments... and there are nice picnic tables outdoor too! Will be back!

This venue is absolutely STUNNING!😍 It was everything I envisioned for my nikkah and made the perfect backdrop for my ceremony. The garden is huge with lots of different areas to explore and countless beautiful photo opportunities. The events team were amazing and made the wedding planning process seamless - I can’t thank them enough! Communication was excellent, and they were very accommodating to any requests. I highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their special day!

A lovely place to wander around in nature. The gardens are beautiful with a wide range of trees and plants. Some of the trees are huge, they feel as if they’ve been there for centuries, which some of them might have been! We enjoyed the small zoo, which has an interesting array of animals. The kookaburra was hilarious when it started calling out and the goats were very entertaining with their head butting. The children that were there seemed to be having fun exploring the gardens and seeing the animals. The gardens are wonderfully calming, there’s a fairy forest, woodland path, walled garden, a holly maze, lake and so much more. Saw several people just sitting enjoying the views and the calm. At the start of your visit there is a small shop where you can pick up indoors and outdoor plants. Once through the doors you have the cafe and toilets. The cafe is functional, but only serves cooked food between 12-2, which does limit you if you’re planning on eating there. Drinks and snacks were available after that. Just outside the cafe is an area you can sit and eat and around that area are a number of small gardens which are lovely and each one is very different. One of my favourite parts of the gardens is the area with the ruins of the old Manor House which explains some of the history. Also around the site are several folly’s, on closer inspection what looks like an old ruin turned out to be much more recent! A lovely day out and I’ll be going back soon.

Lots to see, including a small animal area with quite a variety of species (Inc wallabies!). Great ideas for plants and planting. Various sample gardens which provide ideas, eg for front gardens, and some relocated Chelsea show gardens. A large site with some areas looking a little neglected but a lovely afternoon out. And very quiet when I visited.

Very nice place with plenty of flowers, trees, fruits and veggies to see. Mini zoo was also fun with few opportunities to see animals being fed. The maze was also good fun too. There is also a cafe with indoor seating and nice outdoor seating as well. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and everyone enjoyed the day. Paid £39 and parking was free. Would be nice to have small playground for the kids.
