I cannot recommend Kevin and his team enough! I had a large job involving removing 5 conifers, removing a hedge and reshaping a overgrown oak tree. I compared a handful of local companies and chose to go with Kevin and his team. They were not the cheapest but you get what you pay for in my view and the whole experience was high quality and seamless. Kevin was highly impressive which is why I chose them - He was punctual to all meeting, gave quotes in the exact time frame promised, responded to my queries promptly, he was fair with pricing, gave good ideas and did not try to oversell or pressurise me - he was a joy to work with. His main tree surgeon Bryn was also highly knowledgeable and gave great ideas for reshaping my oak tree.

I have used Herts Tree and Garden Services for two jobs: removal of trees and replacing fencing. Both times, the work has been of a high standard at a fair price. The team are very professional and nothing was too much trouble.

Of all the tradespeople we’ve had work on our house, Craig and Ant were by far the best. Craig was excellent with his communication and gave us a very reasonable landscaping quote. On the job they were very polite, helpful, and hardworking. Craig is a perfectionist who takes great pride in his work and for good reason - we are so happy with our new garden!

Craig and Anthony did an amazing job on removing the old wooden decking, replacing it with new composite decking in our garden, as well as fixing part of a sunken patio. They arrived just before 8am each day, not leaving until they had completed the individual jobs they had planned for the day. The decking ended up being a troublesome job, as it overhangs a stream. However, no problem was insurmountable to this team! Craig and Anthony delivered a very high quality service (one day involved 10 hours working in the torrential rain) and I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone. Thanks both, for such a great job!

Good things come to those who wait, and this is the case with my garden project. I read all the reviews and preferred Craig and his team but we had to wait for 4 months due to their schedule and the moment i saw Craig, it was clear I made the right decision. I just had a good feeling about him when he came over to provide a quote and i was willing to wait for him until he was available. We were extremely happy with how the garden turned out, the finishes, the meticulous work and the quality of work was just outstanding. Then there were extra bits I requested that were done. The work was completed in August and it took about a week. Craig and Ant did an amazing job and I recommend them to everyone I know. Very happy with their work. Thank you so much.

He was professional, approachable and so helpful with adapting the plan as we saw it come together to ensure it was right for us which we really appreciated. We can't praise Craig and his team highly enough! They transformed our garden from an overgrown wilderness to our dream space. The garden was really difficult to work with because the access was tight and the terrain steep, but they got a great plan together. They worked on our garden through snow and rain and they really did an amazing job. Craig has a great eye for detail and he incorporated our endless additions with great flexibility and patience. Last year we finally made the decision to look at getting our garden redesigned after years of trying to make it nice, but it really was old and tired. It had an imposing pergola which blocked out light and took up a huge amount of space, sparse borders and an uneven patchy lawn. We contacted Craig McGibbon Ltd after some research as we really liked his work and had an initial online consultation. We discussed how we use the space and our dream of a garden for wildlife and nature with lots of planting and seating areas for us to relax and enjoy watching it all. Craig was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and had lots of ideas about what could be achieved and explained the process from design through to build clearly. He then came back to us with a concept design we could then talk through and make any changes. Before the build began, we realised we would need some irrigation installed owing to the hot summer we were having, and are likely to have going forward. Craig was very flexible in making changes to the design all the way through and made some great suggestions going along, such as building the deck overhanging the pond and moving the water butt to the side of the house. The team were a great bunch of guys; professional, polite, friendly and hard working. We were particularly impressed with the attention they took to look after the existing wildlife and plants from our old pond so that they could be carefully put back once the new one was in place. The build was completed by the end of summer and we are absolutely over the moon with our new garden. It has been totally opened up and there is so much more space. The deck area with bespoke bug hotel and wildlife pond are our favourite features and the pond is currently full of newts and little critters. The lovely planting has survived it's first winter and is all coming back to life and we can't wait to spend the summer out enjoying it all. We would sincerely like to thank Craig and his team for creating our beautiful new garden, we absolutely love it and so do all our little visitors.

What a brilliant job by Craig, Charles and Ruben. Nice, friendly guys, they worked efficiently, were happy to incorporate last minute additions (fence panels and planting) and we love the final result. Replacing a raised flower bed edge (sleepers) with steel panels was inspired and looks brilliant, the rust colour is great. And the arbour on my patio (which was tricky to build!) looks perfect - I am delighted with everything they did. Highly recommended!
