Really lovely gardens in the centre of Winchester near the cathedral. We visited on May and it was an absolute delight to wander around these lush gardens.

Small, but pleasant park adjacent to King Alfred. Just enough benches to find somewhere to rest your legs. An ice cream vendor throughout the summer months. Public toilets. Flower borders. A children's play area. 🌹🍦🚾👪

Richard and Nick design the most beautiful creations and give excellent personal service. Having award winning designs from Chelsea Flower Show under their belt, they really must be one of THE go to garden and landscape design companies! I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to experience their garden designs first hand. Just wonderful.

Taylor Tripp have always been our first ‘must-go’ choice for our landscape designer. Over the last 30 years we have tackled some quite simple and some quite elaborate projects together, most recently the new Oriental Garden at Houghton Lodge. The designs have always exceeded our expectations. Richard consistently comes up with beautiful designs that are sensitive to the history of the garden and that work in perfect harmony with the existing landscape. Nick, a skilled plantsman, quietly and competently organises everything else. They make a great team and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to design your garden.

First visit in many years and I was pleasantly surprised. Good selection of plants and many bargains. Staff polite and helpful. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Hiller plants are expensive but worth it. Always in perfect condition. But its losing a star because the front entrance has bags of compost etc stacked across it and the main entrance is tucked away, unsigned, at the side of the building. While bewildered potential customers wander vaguely at the front, shrugging their shoulders and heading for BnQ instead. Do something Hillier, it's costing you.

Super selection of healthy plants at fair prices. Lots of bargains to be had for the green-fingered in the reduced to clear section. Staff helpful and lovely selection of gardening paraphernalia and gifts, food, wine etc. House plant selection has increased in recent years and are much quality than the supermarket offering.
