I am absolutely delighted with my garden, and cannot recommend Simon of Orchard Garden Design strongly enough. Every step of the process was enjoyable. In the early stages, Simon took great care to understand my likes, dislikes, colour and style preferences. His design is innovative, fun, and better than I could have hoped for. Simon really went the extra mile. For example, I asked that we not have any plants that are toxic to cats. Not only did he exclude the toxic list, but he also took care not to include any plants that could potentially be dangerous to cats (it's a very long list!). He also went to select the rocks in person to ensure that they are the right shade and size for the garden. I was also surprised to learn that almost every plant in the garden flowers, and Simon selected them so that I have something new popping up almost every week of the summer! Simon always gave me options, and explained the implications. I always felt very much part of the process. My garden is now growing, and Simon has kept in touch, giving advice as the plants mature. He built something that will bring me joy for many years.

We have built two of Simon's gardens this year. His plans are unique and very clear - both of which are key in achieving a brilliant result. The homeowners love how he gets so much value out of their property.

Having seen Simon's work online, we first asked him to design a back garden for us several years ago, knowing that it would be a while before we could start the works. We then came back to him to prepare detailed construction drawings and a planting plan and to help find a suitable contractor. Simon was brilliant throughout the whole project, always really efficient and we absolutely love the garden now it is complete. We would have no hesitation in recommending him and look forward to having him design a front garden for us in the near future!

Russell did an amazing job installing our new fence, he gave us lots of guidance on using concrete gravel boards to retain the soil in our deeper borders. The quote we received was very competitively priced and he worked very hard for the time it took to install. We are very pleased with his work and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

The second half of our project to replace all the old pathways and patio in our back garden has just been completed, and as was the case with the earlier work, the result is stunning. The whole process from initial consultation, through preparing the ground and then laying the new stone and brickwork has proceeded smoothly and was at all times highly professional. The team working in the garden knew what was required and always checked with us if there were any small items of uncertainty about exact detail. They were also very adaptable when we decided to modify a couple of design ideas half way through the work ! They also went to great lengths to ensure that any mess on our front drive associated with the work was completely cleared and hosed down at the end of each day. We would highly recommend Hambrooks, this is now the third time we have used them for garden work and we would certainly use them for any future plans.

Happy New Year and a belated Thankyou for the wonderful transformation to our garden at the end of November Sam was great, listened to our requests and came up with a great plan. Roger and Sarah's Gardening Services have been amazing, can't hesitate to recommend them. Our patio was in desperate need of a bit of TLC. We called in Mark and his team, and they completely transformed the whole area. They redesigned our patio area using porcelain tiles, built a brick BBQ area, added new stairs down into the garden. Beautiful job all round. A few weeks ago the team came in to clear my garden and cut down trees, it was raining and I don’t have a side gate so had to be taken through the house. Was really impressed with the care taken of my place, putting plastic down on the floor and creating minimal mess. Mark took time out of his weekend to come take a look at our garden and give us a quote for the work needed. Instead of charging us, he took his time to give us valuable gardening tips that we could use to fix and maintain our lawn , patio and our trees. He advised what gardening equipment we needed and showed us the ones he had in his van. We offered to pay Mark consultation fees for all the advice but he refused and offered his support whenever we needed. I will definitely be recommending Mark to anyone i know.
