I paid for a one hour consultation with Alexandra to review a design I created for my garden. I would highly recommend her as I'm very happy with my new garden. I have a garden design qualification but as an amateur I wanted to bounce my ideas of a designer with a great eye and a lot of experience. She has designed some beautiful gardens as you can see on her website and Instagram. Alexandra was very generous with her time and made some excellent suggestions particularly with regards to the paving configuration and boundary treatment. Alexandra was so helpful. She came at short notice for a one-off consultation to give me some ideas about designing our garden. Originally it had been covered in concrete so we were starting from scratch. I had some ideas myself but needed help with designing the shape of the lawn and beds. Her suggestions in terms of both design and planting were spot-on and we’re more than happy with the results.

After moving house I needed some help with bringing two balcony areas to life. Alexandra listened carefully to my requirements and asked clear questions to ascertain the aesthetic I was after. I felt that she really understood my needs. She put together a clear package for each balcony which included plants for shade and sun dependant on where they faced. It surpassed all expectations – she chose plants I had never even heard of that really inspired a non-gardener! She recommended where I might purchase the plants and gave tips on what exactly to look for. My favourite part of her service is that she thought about when the plants might flower and how they all connected to create the overall effect. I would have been lost without her help! I would definitely use her again once I start thinking about the garden.
