The service from MK Electrical is first class. Very quick response time, all quotes and work are explained in detail and Michal is a very trustworthy and engaging professional. The standard of work carried out was exceptional. Very neat and tidy, no mess to clear up afterwards and it is clear Michal genuinely cares for his customers. There were points during the work carried out where he could have taken an easier option to save himself time but offered to go the extra yard for the best result. I cannot recommend them more highly. Completely trustworthy company.

Michal and Emilia quickly identified the problem with our electrics. They made it safe and then came back and did a thorough and efficient repair. They did a difficult job at a very fair cost and we are very satisfied and will definitely use them again.

Looked for a local electrical installer and Michal seemed to be the nearest to us and had done work for a near neighbour, very knowledgeable and experienced and personable chap. After explaining our needs and showing the lay of the land we agreed on what needed to be done and agreed a price. Michal and Emilia worked really well together to complete our job exactly as promised and on time. No Stress, very tidy, so happy customers; Would highly recommend and in fact we have asked them to do another job for us. Zak

When I contacted James regarding a door locking issue, he could not have been more helpful and courteous. He came out immediately and the job was completed professionally and perfectly. Really great! We came for my Mum's birthday lunch and weren't disappointed. Food was excellent, nice ambience, great service. Plenty of choices for the 2 vegetarians in our group. Desserts were also really very good.

Lorenzo provided an exceptional dining experience that deserves nothing short of a 5-star review. Four of us traveled from Warwickshire to meet up with two friends to celebrate a friend's retirement, from the moment we stepped into the restaurant on that winter night, we were greeted with a warmth that extended beyond the cozy atmosphere. Heating was beautiful on really cold night. The seating, notably accommodating for someone with hidden disability problems like myself, was extremely comfortable. Now, let's talk about the food – a culinary journey that began with a mushroom starter bursting with flavors. All six of us unanimously rated each dish, from the starters to the mussels and the main course featuring chicken, prawns, and tuna, with a resounding 5 stars. This wasn't your typical mass-produced pub food; it was a symphony of homemade flavors. Even when faced with the disappointment of a finished crème brûlée on the dessert board, the exceptional service kicked in. The waiter not only informed us promptly but also offered to have it made from scratch, despite the 30-minute wait. This level of dedication left us utterly shocked and grateful. The overall experience, from the delectable food to the outstanding service, exceeded our expectations. It was our first-ever visit, and without a doubt, we will be returning on our next visit to friends in the area. I had water ingress down the gable end wall and chimney area. I looked at reviews and BLS roofing were highly rated. Brian came out on a weekend and he immediately knew what the problem was and the best course of action to remedy it. He didn’t try to push for extra work and his quote came through quickly. It wasn’t cheap but right for the job in hand and competitive . I had to wait about a month for a start date but Brian kept me updated. His crew of three arrived and got to work like a well oiled machine. I expected it to take 2 days but it was done in one. The damage and repairs was photographed and shared. Everything was tidied and cleaned as if they had never been. There are a lot of cowboys out there, but BLS roofing is not amongst them and I would not hesitate to recommend and use them again

Brian quoted us for a dry verge installation and the job was done within two weeks. Good set of friendly lads: worked well, kept us informed, tidied-up as they went. They worked around a tight access situation and solved a problem with the tricky design of the existing roof. Very happy with the outcome.

Contacted them about a leaking valley and 2 flat bay tops. Brian came quickly and assessed the situation and advised us of the solutions. He sent us a quote the same day and on acceptance he gave us an accurate timescale for when he would be able to start. As promised he came when he said and the work was completed over 2 days by 3 very friendly and polite roofers. They took the time to match the tiles by using weathered ones from another area that couldn't be seen and replacing them with the newer tiles. They tidied up after themselves each day. The whole experience was very positive and I highly recommend them.

Brian's lads worked very hard to complete the re-roofing of our bungalow, coping well with its quirky-layout & the very hot weather. The team kept any disruption to us to a minimum & were polite & courteous at all times. A good indication of their standard of workmanship has been the many comments made by the other villagers.

After a stormy weekend, I'm sure that Brian had a lot of call-outs, but he was able to get to me within the hour of my call to him. I'd had a significant leak through in the downstairs toilet ceiling from an obsolete ventilation tile in the porch-style roof. He talked me through the issues and had quoted on the job within a couple of hours – with a price I was happy to pay. He had said he hoped to be able to get the job done that week, or the next at the very latest – which didn't seem unreasonable to me. But, as it turned out, he was able to get it sorted first thing the next morning. So the whole issue was resolved in a stress-free way in little over 24 hours.

Really good .my partner called after walking the dog in the next door field and tried a sausage bap which he said was very nice and reasonably priced .I tried the cheese burger at night which came on a lovely floury bap which was good and fries. The fries were exceptional .we are staying on site though there is parking by the side of the reception hut

Burgers and nachos were nice, but the burger was exceptionally nice and filling. Food was served relatively quick and there is plenty of green space nearby for activities.

I contacted Mark in the morning in regard to getting my new washing machine installed, Mark asked me some questions & he was able to visit around midday, a professional and polite worker, who tidied up after the work was completed and gave me a few tips on how to keep my washing machine running well. Highly recommended service, i would not hesitate to recommend Mark for all your plumbing needs.

Rang him last week to sort out my washing machine which wasn't draining the water out of it, after my amazing bad job at trying to connect it up. He came round in 15 mins of ringing him and sorted the job out with amazing speed and professionalism and found him very approachable and gave some good advice.

I called today in a bit of a panic as my teenagers had locked themselves out of the house. I was at Hull Hospital with my husband who had just had brain surgery and I couldn't get home. I found Shire Locks and he had my kids back inside the house in around 15mins from me calling. I couldn't ask for better service. Fantastic, speedy service from Brian. I called him regarding a snapped key stuck in an external door lock on a Sunday afternoon. My call was picked up straight away and he arrived at my house promptly. A new lock was fitted and he even sorted out a faulty window hinge at no extra cost, with useful advice given. Brian's contact details are now saved in my phone, and I wouldn't hesitate to call on his services again if needed. Polite, friendly and very helpful. I would happily recommend Brian.

Made a call tonight as after using my sliding doors today , could not get them closed and locked. I could believe how helpful Brian was he tried to FaceTime me to try help but then realised he needed to come out. He was here within 45 mins!! Fixed the door and was so helpful and friendly. Fantastic hotel, steeped in bomber command history. I had a very comfortable room with an excellent bathroom. I attended a function at the hotel which was very well organised and had a great buffet. The breakfast is a buffet service and was also very good. I'll definitely return and I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the area.

Amazing venue.. just spent New Year's Eve,on a Gangster and Molls murder mystery night. Everyone looked fabulous in their costumes,and the actors were amazing.... didn't solve the crime, but great fun . The staff,and the food at the buffet was plentiful and delicious,as was the breakfast. Would highly the Petwood Hotel,and it's stunning location.
