Darren came and designed my new bathroom, excellent job from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. He always arrived on time, always polite, cleaned and tidied after each day. He did a great job with the tiling. I love the bathroom and will certainly be recommending Lamberts Plumbing Services to my friends and family and will be using them in the future. I've lived in 26 houses during my lifetime so have used many, many plumbing companies. Lamberts are by far the best I've ever known. Aside from being absolutely lovely people, they are knowledgeable (yet totally devoid of ego), reliable, professional, ethical, and diligent. They take extraordinary measures to ensure their customers are safe and happy. And I love the fact that I don't even need a quote for a job because I can trust that whatever it comes to, it is the best possible price.

I've had Darren and team out three times over the last two years having a new utility room plumbed in, my boiler checked over and a tap fixed. Each time they were polite, helpful and left everything tidy and in good order. Will definitely be giving them a call if i need anything else doing.

Darren's is great he came and looked at the boiler of the house we were purchasing to ensure it worked properly. As it had been shut down for over a year. He then came back and fitted a shower and shower screen to the bathroom and silicone the bath in. We can not thank you enough for everything you have done for us! We will be asking him to come back to fit a new boiler in the spring. Can't recommend these guys enough.

Lovely food and drink with very friendly and attentive staff. The menu was great with a lot of options, and my lobster and mussels pasta dish was perfect. Dog friendly too. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area.

It's a Great Spot to Chill I've only been to The Leather Bottle a couple of times, but it's quickly become a favorite. The coffee is great, and they have a really nice selection of cakes. It's a great spot to chill out and relax. The unique interior design and pleasant atmosphere make it a perfect place to unwind.

I’ve been here quite a few times. The food is always fantastic and they have an excellent selections. Great choices of drinks as well. The atmosphere is lovely with a nice warming fire during the winter. Service and staff were great and very friendly. Excellent pub with great food

Food was good, although the chicken wing portion is very stingy for the price, mains were nice, good portion size. Friend had bruschetta, which it wasn't.. cherry tomatoes cut in half with basalmic vinegar on ciabatta bread.. My main gripe was the service, it took 20 mins to take our starter order (pub was virtually empty) received them nearly an hour after sitting at the table.. The young ladies serving were polite and friendly.. easily fixed, to make a better experience for next time.

Typical trucker caf in decor and typical range of fare available. Food and tea delicious - amazing, it really hit the spot! ☺ We had bacon, sausage, egg & mushroon rolls. The owner even went out to the shops to get more mushrooms for us. Very impressed. All the staff really attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend. 😊

Great place to stop off for basic, well cooked and tasty food at a good price. Very friendly staff, welcoming and helpful. Dog friendly and provided water and a sausage for each dog. They were delighted too! 😁 On the spur of the moment stop off, but glad we did. Will happily return and highly recommended

Wow first time here. What a lovely cafe. Staff very helpful. Loads of free parking. Been on this site run by the same family since 1922. Not to far off of the M3 ideal stopping off point on the way down to the West Country.

Cracking breakfast! Lots of choice, breakfast size to suit everyone. Hubby had all-day breakfast, which included his favourite, the fried slice. I had breakfast number 2. All the food was hot. Very reasonably priced. Everyone was really friendly. 😊 We couldn't quite eat everything, so the dog got some too! Thanks.

Amazing little cafe, wonderful staff, a hidden little gem. If you like a little cafe, with great staff, fantastic food at amazing prices then this should be your go too. Loads of parking at the rear, so car clubs, bikers all add it to your list … They even stayed open late today for our daughter who wanted to have here 18th Birthday lunch there because she loves it so much. Laura and the girls did a wonderful job thank you and she had a truly wonderful lunch. Thank all at ‘The Shack’

Last weekend, my friend and I had an absolutely delightful time here. While waiting for our group to finish their game, we enjoyed a bite to eat at the club's clubhouse. The setting was perfect—a lovely day complemented by a superb location. We indulged in a glass of rosé and ordered the chicken burger, which was nothing short of scrumptious. The burger was expertly layered with crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and the most amazing sauce, all nestled between a crisp, fresh bread roll. It was a wonderful lunch that truly hit the spot. The staff were amazing, attentive, and made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I can't recommend Hartley Wintney Golf Club enough for both the golf and the dining!

Great friendly club and welcoming for Juniors. Good coaching with indoor facilities to tune up your game during the winter. Good bar and great food with a lovely terrace for summer drinks. A tricky course in great condition with a friendly welcome awaits any visitors. Highly recommended 5*

We used Mark Smith Plumbing last year to install our new boiler so we asked them to replace 2 leaking syphon valves in 2 toilets. Despite some difficulties in obtaining the correct parts and the job expanding into a bigger one, we were very pleased with the final result and the final invoice was very acceptable.

We were very pleased with the work (new bathroom) that Mark Smith did for us. Their advice with design and choice of materials was really helpful. The office staff made themselves available whenever we needed information and responded promptly to our questions. The quotation was clearly set out and reasonable. The tradesmen who worked on the project were thorough, careful and clearly very skilled. They kept us up to speed with what they were doing and were very considerate when it came to the inconveniences of having to turn off the water supply! They were punctual throughout and completed the work in the promised two and a half weeks. Overall, we'd have no reservations in recommending them.

Fabulous, friendly & professional service as always from booking the service to the engineer carrying out the work. They started off doing the service on my boiler and then reinstalled a new one 4 yrs ago. They are very reasonably priced on all their work. This is our nearest National Trust place to visit. My wife and I normally combine a walk with a visit to the gardens, there are some lovely local walks close by. There is a car parking fee of £4. The gardens are well maintained, though some infrastructure parts have been neglected for a while. For example I’ve not seen the small routed water stream that crosses the path, after the dragons, running for some years. And part of the garden wall has been down for a while- perhaps that is becoming a feature. But overall it’s a lovely garden with several different paths around. There is a cafe offering food and drinks that is popular. They also have a gift shop and sell some plants. I didn’t see it this last visit, but previously I have also seen afternoon -tea bookings on offer in the Greenhouse.

Hidden gem! The gardens are a real treat for the eyes with all the vibrant flowers and intricate designs. The tea room was a nice touch too, serving up some delicious cakes. Perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon stroll. The staff was friendly, and parking was a breeze

Just gardens, you have to pay for parking £4 as privately owned but National Trust members entrance only is free. Pleasant gardens, Lake and tea room. We were a little disappointed though as we were there less than a hour as not much to see.

Beautiful gardens, especially as we visited in October and there were still plenty of flowers in bloom. We spent around 2hrs here including getting a coffee. I think you could spend longer in the summer as there would be more to look at. Winding paths direct you through the gardens and there was a sculpture exhibition with some interesting pieces.

Brilliant Cafe, friendly staff, nice and warm on a chilly winter day. Stopped in for lunch midweek which was much quieter than mid morning had been. The menu choices looked excellent and the food and drinks were really good quality, nicely cooked and all fresh ingredients. We had a full breakfast with a few swaps and a vegan breakfast. For the quality the price was very reasonable, especially as it included a drink. Delicious :)

Seven of us dined together to celebrate a birthday and retirement. The service was faultless, attentive, polite and friendly, the food excellent; several of us had the special main course of lamb shank and the meat was outstanding. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.
