It was windy inside but a hellabullo outside...great cafe with great views. Great menu and service was prompt and with a smile. Our dog loved the attention and the doggie sausage which was a nice touch. Food was well presented and tasty and hit the spot. The cafe has an extension menu and do great breakfast upto midday. Lovely cakes too but we were full from our lunch. Recommend the coated chips with. Cheese and pulled pork...yum 😋

Came here on a recommendation of a family member and I was glad I did! It was a busy day and the staff were clearly rushing all over the place, with our food taking quite a while to arrive. However, our breakfast was fresh, hot and most importantly; extremely tasty! Great quality sausages (a big hit for me) and thick cut bacon. Minor complaint that I received fried bread instead of toast, but it wasn't enough for me to raise it at the time. Nice coffee too! Even had some colouring bits for young kids, which is a nice touch.

I think we paid around £10 for 3 babyccinos, a double espresso and 2 packets of biscuits, which given today’s prices is pretty good 🙌🏻 Side note: the Babyccinos are awesome. They’re £1.45 and you get frothy milk with marshmallows but a cheaper version for kids. Highly recommend and the kids loved them👌🏻 I could imagine that it would be quite relaxing and enjoyable, but we had 3 kids. Sitting in a cafe is generally not all that enjoyable with kids but they were quite bearable and no one died. And big up to the member of staff that took the time to have a chat with one of our kids and even gave them all paper bags to collect treasure in from the beach 🙌🏻

Moore Than Tea

Rating: 4.5 (91) Price Level:

We were recommended Moore Than Tea ...and Cake by a friend, so we stopped by to try out some of their home made food. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The service was very good as we decided to eat outside, and our order was brought outside to us. I went for the Custard Cream Cheesecake which was delicious, and liked the fact that it had biscuits added to the top and the sides. I would recommend a visit for a nice snack in the afternoon, if you’ve been walking up some of the coastal walks nearby.

I thought that tomato soup was lovely but now I've tasted one of the nicest I have had and if there was a reason to go back it's the SOUP , beside that that the rest of our order was a great in look/taste and value . The service was friendly and prompt plus there was a great feel to the place for us This is now our place to go when we come back to Bridport....👍👍👍

So pleased to find this lovely cafe. A warm welcome, cosy surroundings and great service providing lovely coffee and one of the best cooked breakfasts I have had for a long time. The *NEW* pistachio cannoli were also excellent. Thank you.

Two fry ups with. Couple of extras and coffee. Reasonably priced, meat quality is very good! Bread was very fresh! Friend had some baked goods off the counter said they were fresh and good! Staff were pleasant, everywhere was clean and tidy but heads up no toilets. Public ones in short distance!

Coffee#1 Bridport

35 East St, Bridport DT6 3JX, UK | Coffee Shop
P: 01308 456315

Rating: 4.2 (636) Price Level:

Went in Costa first and it was so cold and lacking in atmosphere that we turned around and left, and walked up to Coffee #1 instead, and how glad I am that we did! Amazing atmosphere, wonderfully funny & welcoming staff, and the coffee’s delicious and very reasonably priced. Plenty of space and comfy chairs, dogs welcome, really lovely, we’ll be back!

Absolutely excellent in every way. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, however busy they are, and extremely efficient. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting - definitely my favourite place to go to , either alone or with friends. Thank you!

Lovely iced coffee and coffee. Server was really friendly however the lady preparing the drinks seemed quiet harassed and not very friendly when asked if there was any straws and answered very stressful "we don't have any straws" no means of an apology or explanation. Found it quiet blunt and rude. Shame as the ambience was so lovely but would consider whether to return or not.

I enjoy visits to Coffee#1. Had a pot of tea this time and a flapjack. It was quite small and not worth £2.65. I know costs are high, but this was not value for money. It's a good place with a variety of seats and tables.

Best coffee i've had in Coffee#1 just now. Hot, thick frothy milk and she even cleansed my reusable cup for me! its a f4 star however, as there are very few sockets - almost as bad as the Costa here🙄

We were served by Ruby- absolutely amazing service and wonderful food! Catered to non-standard allergens with kindness and respect! We had the confit tomatoes with feta and the autumn salad, would recommend both for anyone visiting. We didn’t get the chance to try the pear frangipane, which we would love to visit to try again.

4.2 is very harsh for the amazing food we ate! Keep cooking like this and you won’t be that for long! Had the Sprung Salad with chicken (thanks for accommodating) and it was one of the best salads I’ve eaten out. Beautiful balance of nuts, leaves asparagus and feta. Really impressive thanks again 👍🏼

Went here for the first time today. Reserved a table for lunch, parked easily and we were fairly quickly shown to our table. Order wasn't taken so I ordered drinks at the bar only to be told someone would take good order at table. Waited what seemed like 10-15 minutes and then went and ordered at the bar! Good Sunday roast with choice of 3 meats, huge portions and were offered a container for doggy bits. Eventually we were cleared and ordered desserts (not in the slightest bit necessary but it was a treat!) Pleasant restaurant area with a wood burner, and in addition there is pet friendly tables and a children's play area. Highly recommended but table staff could perhaps be a bit more alert. Loved the fire brigade memorabilia

Food was better than I thought it might be, I had a burger. Kids portions were decent. Service was friendly. Lots of space. Softplay is bigger than you think. The toilets could have been checked more often though, someone put a dirty nappy in the tiny bin and boy did that whiff spread!

Been a couple of time's to Martin's and not been disappointed. Had a truly amazing dinner on Sunday father's day. Just what I was hoping for, lovely roasted beef and pork. Great Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes. Cauliflower cheese and beans, with mashed sweet potato and gravy. All amazing, just a quick note there was other veg available just not what I wanted.
