I recently attended the Fundamentals 1 course with Aiden and Phil. I can now understand why they only have 5 star reviews. Brilliant course led by a couple of nice guys.

I have just spent a most enjoyable, productive weekend on one of Aidan’s Fundamentals 1 course, with Jarrad as course tutor. These two days have given me a new perspective on the standards and techniques applied by professional furniture makers but relevant to me as someone with only basic knowledge. Jarrad was the perfect tutor, conveying information clearly, precisely and it has to be said, with great humour throughout. It has moved my woodworking on to another level, now gearing up for Fundamentals 2 course! Great course, great tutor, highly recommended.

From the moment I walked through the workshop door I knew that I had made the right choice of course to start my woodworking journey. Aidan is a fantastic guy, a skilled craftsman, a brilliant teacher and innovator. He has great woodworking knowledge and looks for excellence in everything he does. He was able to show me the importance of accuracy in woodwork and help me achieve that after only two or three days. A simple serving platter was the brief - with Aidan's help I made a design masterpiece that my wife loved. I would thoroughly recommend one of Aidan's courses, you will not be disappointed. I will certainly be back for more. By the way the lemon drizzle cake wasn't bad either!

Aiden is a delightful and entertaining craftsman who enthusiastically shares his passion and amazing talent for fine cabinet making. On the project based course he guided each of us to produce a piece of work beyond our expectations. This was serious training, designed to help those thinking about a career as a cabinet maker or interested in setting up a workshop at home to do cabinet making as a hobby. He taught us traditional skills in detail with an emphasis on perfection in all we were doing. Aiden is extremely knowledgable and an excellent teacher with a great sense of humour. I had a wonderful week with him and recommend the week long course to anyone who wants to discover some of the principles and skills used by cabinet makers to create fine furniture.
