These guys were amazing: we gave them a very challenging reconfiguration and renovation of a 18thC listed Barn conversion which ran for 11 months. The standard of craftsmanship was off the scale, and has been widely admired. We produced a book on it, they were so good. Their pricing, ethics, site cleanliness, manners and timing were flawless. Pricing was realistic and competitive. I wouldn’t go elsewhere. And I checked out their previous big contracts and the owners were very happy too. If in doubt or sceptical you can inspect ours. The one star review below is so far from our experience as to be laughable.

I’ve used New Forest Building Services Ltd many times in the last 6 years to modernise my home and garden. More recently Craig and his team have build me a sound proofed music room to a very high standard. Craig is always competitive with other builders in the area, but the key for me in repeatedly using Craig is trust and professionalism. We have had New Forest Building services around to do a garage conversion, to fit new bathrooms, add a utility room, do the driveway and put a retaining wall around our garden in, amongst other things. They are excellent. They are fair with their pricing, work hard and are very trustworthy. We gave them the keys to the house whilst we were away. Highly recommend Craig and the team.

Craig and his team recently completed a major wrap around kitchen/diner extension with extensive internal refurbishment of two other rooms, demolition of a chimney with roof reconstruction and landscaping. Build time was around 6 months. The work was completed to an extremely high standard- in particular Craig’s attention to detail is second to none. For example some porcelain brick effect tiles were laid on an inside wall to look exactly like bricks even down to matching the shades on the corners and the mortar lines. Craig’s initial quote was accurate and extremely detailed even though the specs changed many times during the project (because of us) so the budget then also changed appropriately. One of the most impressive things about Craig was the way he interacted with us as an extremely busy working family, keeping us going over the winter with temporary cooking and washing facilities and generally fitting in with us. He is also an extremely friendly, approachable and 100% honest person with excellent communication all round. You may you find cheaper quotes but for the reasons outlined above for us this was worth its weight in gold. Would highly recommend to anyone considering any scale of building project without reservation.
