We have awarded Acorn practically all of the bespoke joinery work for our new home in Surrey, including a large study/library, boot room, laundry/utility room, cloak room, bathroom vanities, internal and external doors, two walk-in dressing rooms and another wardrobe. The result is stunning and we couldn't be happier. Thomas and his team produced top-grade furniture and installed them perfectly, tending to our every request and input with professionalism, respect and curtesy. Thomas is creative, reliable and an excellent problem solver. His design drawings were super helpful and really brought things to life, and the delivery was spot-on as detailed. He worked very well with the rest of the construction teams as well. We would gladly hire Acorn again and we highly recommend them.

Thomas and his team recently completed quite a lot of work in our house, including some very complex bespoke joinery e.g., a wine wall and whisky cabinet using a variety of materials. The quality of the work was very good, Thomas and his team are very thorough and have excellent attention to detail. They were also flexible and worked very well with our architect. They are nice people too and I would recommend them.

Thomas recently came back to our house (after many other jobs completed for us) to build two desks for our daughter’s bedrooms. As usual service was great and workmanship excellent. Desks look amazing and just what we asked for . Highly recommend

As part of our full house renovation, we hired Tom and his company, Acorn Bespoke Carpentry and Joinery, to craft several custom pieces: a stunning oak front door, oak double garage doors, fully integrated understairs cupboards, and a beautifully designed oak mantlepiece for our fireplace.

Before meeting Tom, we had spoken with a couple of other joinery companies. However, from the moment we met Tom, it was clear that he and Acorn Bespoke Carpentry were the perfect choice to handle all the key joinery work for our renovation project.

Tom has a remarkable ability to put you at ease. He listened attentively to our ideas and ensured every aspect of the project was executed smoothly, thoughtfully, and with the utmost care.

When you hire someone like Tom, you naturally have high hopes for the results. Yet, the final pieces exceeded all our expectations – we were truly blown away by the exceptional craftsmanship.

Our oak front door and double garage doors are breathtaking. The quality of the craftsmanship is unmatched, adding timeless elegance to our home. To honour the heritage of the house, we had separately commissioned a stained-glass panel, which Tom seamlessly incorporated into the front door, enhancing its beauty.

The fully integrated, push-to-open understairs cupboards are not only highly practical, perfectly meeting our storage needs, but they also look fantastic. And the new oak mantlepiece above our fireplace ties everything together beautifully.

I commissioned Thomas and his team to create a bepoke display wall as part of our house refurbishment a few years ago. I can recommend Acorn for attention to detail throughout the process. I suspect I asked for more input in the design than most but all requests were listened to and addressed. The end result was a stunning addition to the house which we enjoy and appreciate every day.
