I cannot recommend Jakub and his team highly enough. Once we had scoped out all the various renovation works on my house, they just got on with it, with minimum involvement from me, and executed to a very high standard. I have done up several properties, but this was genuinely the most stress-free experience. Worth every penny (and more!).

Good job, good price, on Time. This is what you want from a builder. It is very rare indeed to all three but we did. Excellent painting job internally and a massive overgrowth of garden Ivy was removed and trellis installed.

Abdul's team Ricky did a great job with some small repairs that required fixing. Ricky was efficient and got the job done. Greta was very effective in providing me with updates and quotes, and appointments in a timely fashion and great at collaborating all the efforts and communication between everyone.

We are thoroughly impressed with Lucky Build and his team! They have been working diligently in our flat everyday for 2 weeks and have been amazing! They took care to cover up furniture to clean, repair, and paint the walls and ceilings. They have serviced and repaired the boiler, bathroom, and other smaller items like door hinges and shelving. We used FMPC services for fixing our computers and building work, both large and small projects. Dmitiry a consummate professional. He would turn up at the agreed time. He was respectful of boundaries. Taking shoes off and being mindful of carpets and belongings. And now the work. Exact. He knew what to do, how to do it and was creative with challenges. Painting, various carpentry, removing and replacing doors, hinges, latches. He understood materials very well. Excellent. Dmitriy could not be any better. He is super efficient. I had a long list of all those annoying jobs ones needs doing that I would not have been able to do myself from installing a heavy mirror on a wall to fitting a new toilet seat and mending my fitted cupboard doors. Several Man Maid jobs later…. I can say I’ve had my highs and lows with Man Maid. (Mostly highs though.) Overall, good. But better for smaller jobs. Here is why… You’d think someone is project managing the staff, but I’ve had staff turning up to work on a wall in my property not knowing the exact scope of the planned 3h-job, and this made the job go over budget. Hence you need to project manage yourself (at least for now). If you don’t, the scope of the work will be increased - which means going over budget. As you go over budget and you don’t project manage the staff, it is likely you will pay for 90 min and someone will work 70 min despite the fact more work still needs done. I highly recommend keeping an eye on what is being done in terms of the job scope and time spent. Water leaks… If you pay for a 30 min investigation to find a leak, make sure you request that the same person who investigated the source of the leak is the one who comes to do the job itself or else you risk going over budget, as someone new needs to do his own 30 min investigation to learn exactly where the leak is. Brickwork: I rate 5 out 5. Plumbing work: I rate 5 out 5. Demolition: I rate 4 out of 5 since I was told to book 60 min, but it took 35 min to partially demolish a ceiling in my kitchen. Decorating… let’s just say there is room for improvement! (Same with project management, communication, staying within budget, attention to details.) I don’t know why Man Maid doesn’t send a notification to the customer before going over budget. I for one would appreciate being pre-notified as I have a tight budget. Moving forward, I’d like to see the incorporation of a Time Bank. If I pay for 90min and the job gets done in 70min according to the labour report, then I’d like 20 min to be time-banked into my account. I never had any issues with booking a job and people not turning up, so in terms of reliability I give Man Maid 5 out of 5. Politeness and trying to go above and beyond 5 out of 5. Taking credit card is a nice touch since I can build up my air miles.

Replaced garden decking. Excellent job at reasonable price. Did it properly so will last. Worked quickly and tidied up. Will definitely use Man Maid again.

I am very happy with the service provided by Man Maid, from the booking process to the service provided. Very professional, polite and knowledgable. They quoted me first, once I have accepted the quote they send someone next day to come and do the job. We had Dean Robinson who did all the tasks agreed and he went above and beyond with the work done. I am very pleased and I will certainly call them again in the future.

As a young female I am very cautious on who comes into my home to complete work.
