Lovley little pub with an attached seating and outside area serving good old pub food. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the staff were attentive and polite. The Spitfire Burger was (cheese, bacon, burger x2) definatly hit the spot! Will be returning for sure!!
The food was delicious and huge portions. The size of the portions make it very good value for money. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Clean toilets. The carpark is free, although can get busy, but street parking available.
Visited today as the Westwood Cross Toby Carvery was very busy and we're so pleased that we did, marvelous two meat roast, turkey/beef, plenty of fresh vegetables, decent Yorkshire. The young staff team was very good and service was prompt. We will visit again and recommend it to everyone, we may not return to Toby for a while.
Absolutely delicious food. The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only downside was the flies (present because the doors were open as it was a warm day) - it can't really be helped but it detracted from the enjoyment of an otherwise excellent meal.
