I’m very precious about my hair, and there is nobody else I would trust with the scissors! Every time I leave the salon, I always get comments on my hair. The shine, colour, perfect waves. Everyone at Number 10 are so friendly and welcoming. Guaranteed good chat, cups of tea or coffee and, of course, a brilliant cut and finish. What more could you ask for? 🤍

I have been a customer of Liz’s for about eight years and have always received an excellent, relaxing and professional service whether having a facial, massage, pedicure or manicure. Her gel nails are amazing and cannot be beaten; they have never chipped! Liz has great skincare knowledge and experience and has recommended, when asked, some excellent products which I repeat buy. Great service and treatments and excellent value for money. Liz’s attention to detail and customer service cannot be beaten. I would highly recommend a visit; you will definitely go back!

I have been using Liz’s Beauty Room for a number of years now and am always extremely satisfied. I travel a number of miles from my home for her treatments as I know I will always be pleased with the results. Her facials are particularly fabulous and she’s the best waxer I’ve come across. Liz is very professional and a friendly, considerate beautician that I’m sure I will use for years to come.

1st visit here and i absolutely love my new coloured hair. I intially choose the salon due to being close to me. Staff were very friendly & didn't rush me, even though I was late for my appointment. They were knowledgeable and talked through all my options. I've got a very professional colour & cut for a fraction of the price compared to some hairdressers who charge twice as much for the same result. I went to Slaters for a root colour and haircut for the first time. I’ve been using Slaters for my hair cuts and colouring for the past few years, and I wanted to share that they are excellent. Lovely friendly salon which has been covid aware throughout the pandemic, with mask wearing and distancing obvious. I’ve had my hair highlighted with foils and the results are fantastic - I asked for a natural look, and I got exactly what I asked for. I can personally recommend Gaz - he also recommended shampoos and conditioners for me, which have helped my hair and restored condition and thickness. All in all a great salon with excellent staff - and I’ll definitely continue to use them.

I am not presently a client here but I walked in off the street for some advice on Paul Mitchell products to help my scalp problem. It is a lovely salon, the staff were extremely welcoming & friendly. They could not have been more helpful. And Obviously very knowledgeable. I was recommended a shampoo & conditioner. This was ordered in especially for me. Arrived very promptly. Excellent service. I will be back

Brilliant friendly little shop. I have only used this shop with finger nail painting with builder gel. However, they do offer a full range of beauty treatments. On my 1st visit I had nail extentions on my nails but I was encouraged by technician Morgan to try builder gel on my own nails. They have been a real success. Would recommend.

After a recent colour disaster, Gemma has restored my faith in hairdressers! The whole process, from the initial consultation to the execution of the colour, was faultless. Gemma gave me full confidence that I would be happier with my hair whilst managing my expectations that it’s a process and it wasn’t going to be perfect on the first visit. Zoe is a fantastic lady, takes pride in her salon and is the best hairdresser I have ever had.

I use Focus on Beauty for my toenail paint and to have my eyebrows tinted and shaped also for lip & chin wax if necessary. It is a very friendly salon where you get to know everyone and the different staff are all.very accommodating and pleasant. When you walk on it has a welcoming feel about it with a nice cup of tea also.

Fantastic experience at Manes Hair Lounge. Lizzie really listened to what I wanted to achieve and corrected my hair colour beautifully (it took a long time and many foils). She then finished with an excellent cut and style. I would recommend this friendly and professional hair lounge.

Had the most amazing experience at Manes on 28/5/25. I have always been nervous of hairdressers after many bad experiences and wanted a complete hair make over and that’s exactly what I got by Liz! I was overwhelmed by the kindness, thoughtfulness and general loveliness shown to me by both Liz and Molly for the entire 6 hours I was in the salon!!!
