Such a great place 👌🏼 Very delicious food. Lovely atmosphere. Very clean. Friendly stuff. Definitely recommended.
Took the MIL for lunch, lovely roasts, great desserts, (included with the price of the mains). service pleasant and quick, and all at reasonable prices. Allowed our dog in and the pub dog is very friendly too. Good atmosphere, and we will return. Booking essential for Sunday lunch.
We enjoyed an excellent Friday lunch, brilliant food, best haddock in beer batter I have ever eaten (and it is my favourite fish dish). Wife had wonderful fish pie. Service excellent, attentive without being obtrusive and happy to accommodate a request. So good we booked for next week same time,same place!! PS Husband forgot to mention the wonderful REAL CHIPS! not frozen tasteless potato starch. Go to the Haywain just for those!
What a fabulous place! Food was excellent, All home made. Lovely atmosphere with log fire. Friendly staff Would highly recommend
Friendly landlord, who had just put on a lovely stout from Three Acre brewery. Very unusual log store by the car park!!
