Extremely professional service from the staff. The place was seriously busy with what appeared to be very few staff. Extremely impressed Every enquiry was met with a positive response and a smile. Even when there was a problem the young lady dealt with it as promptly as she possibly could given the amount of people pulling her in ever single direction possible. Well, this has to be one of the nicest places to visit on a trip to Royal Tunbridge Wells. The food and service was of an exceptional standard. The ambience is perfect. We only popped in for a lunch. Best burger I've had in such a long time. Big compliments to the chef and waiting staff!

What a find! We were struggling to locate anywhere with the kitchen open for late lunch (that wasn’t a cafe serving sandwiches) and got very lucky with the white bear. Dog friendly and super attentive from the moment we walked in from the cold rainy outdoors. Dog water and adorable treats brought to us the second we sat down 🧡 The atmosphere is super cosy with lovely low lighting and candles on every table - really calm and relaxing. The food was super lovely, enjoyed a generous portion of fish and chips from their lunch menu and left feeling stuffed! The staff were fantastic and very friendly, checking in on us to bring our courses within perfect timing. Ignore the other horrible reviews and go have a brilliant pub lunch at this spot, won’t disappoint 👌🏼

A lovely bar and restaurant. The roof is open at the back and it was a lovely sunny day. This is what we’d call a posh pub as the food is at treat prices with a rib eye steak being £37. Good service, great food and attentive service. A little pricey.

The food was really good. However I’m going to mention the service. Lucy P was brilliant. It was a busy Xmas lunch with work colleagues and Lucy navigated around all our requests and never got it wrong! She remembered orders without writing it down. Friendly and smiling. The reason. Why you come back to a place is because of how they make you feel. I felt welcomed. Well done.
