Wow! Delicious food! I had the mac n cheese, so filling, absolutely lovely! My boyfriend had the Guinness beef stew and loved it too! Its our first time eating here, definitely wont be the last! Thank you Golden Lion 😁
We had a fabulous roast dinner here today, huge portions & very tasty, lovely staff, highly recommend, thank you we will be back 🙌🏻
Went for a Sunday roast based on reviews and was one of the most superb I’ve had! I had no idea this was just down the road and am thrilled. Had the beef brisket that was moist and tender, lovely gravy, perfect parsnips and roast spuds. Also then steamed broccoli and creamed leeks. Wonderfully presented, and brought to table by the chef himself- he and all staff were lovely.
The Guinness Beef Stew was excellent as was the Gammon and Eggs. Good value, good service in a good environment. Very enjoyable!
