Gorgeous county pub. Visited and sat outside in quite a large party! This pub is absolutely PERFECT on a sunny day! Ordered in advance and food came out quickly and staff where very efficient and friendly!!!!!!! Food was lovely! The pub has a huge field with a play park and swings….due to have an additional play area put in too! Very impressed and would 100% recommend. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely afternoon!

Honestly the best experience, we came here for my nans 86th birthday. From the moment of booking over the phone to on the day, the staff were fantastic, so helpful, Friendly and everything went so smoothly considering there was 19 of us meaning we could just sit back relax and enjoy family time. The food was so good, we have all said we will be back. Thank you making it a special one for my Nan to remember, she had happy tears whilst we sang happy birthday!

A beautiful old traditional country pub. Have eaten here a few times now and the food is fantastic. Friendly staff, lovely location and great food with very decent portion sizes. Highly recommend this pub! Definitely worth booking in advance though as it has always been packed when I've been.

A perfect country pub with roaring log fires and wood beams. Very friendly service with lunchtime and main menus plus a special board. Good portions, great quality and reasonable prices. Best to book well ahead as can get busy. Two car parks on offer with large play area for the kids. Well worth the effort to get there.

Friday lunch time visit for us, table booked in advance good job because it got very busy. My wife ordered the steak and ale pie/creamy mash potato for me was the sirloin steak/chips and father-in-law cod n chips and our niece smaller one plate ham egg and chips. The pie had lovely pastry with large tender "chunks" of steak and creamy mash surrounded with cabbage and carrots topped off with gravy my wife's overall opinion was "delicious". For me I had the steak n chips £23 so I was expecting a tasty piece of beef cooked to my liking and I wasn't disappointed it was perfect say no more... The cod n chips got a thumbs up from my father-in-law and our little one enjoyed her ham/egg/chips. Good service from the very busy waitress staff, we will return.
