Great experience using London electricians. Lucian was very helpful over email, the engineer that came to service our immersion heater was knowledgeable and professional. They were accommodating to our needs and got the report over to us hours after the inspection. Would recommend and use again.

Really pleased with the service I received. Lucian has been helpful from the start to provide insight and professional suggestions on the job I needed to get done. The team arrived on time and carried out the tasks as requested. Friendly and professional service. I would use them again as well as recommend their services to others. Many thanks!

Prompt, polite and efficient service. Lucían arrived at the agreed time and carried out the necessary work (replacement of smoke alarms) without any hassles. He had purchased the necessary items in advance as agreed. I would recommend them.

Freshdental Clinic and Institute by Monik Vasant
46 Craven Rd, London W2 3QA, UK | Dental Clinic P: 020 7837 5523
Rating: 4.8 (98) Price Level:
I have had the pleasure of Dr. Monik treating me, first in 2016 when I was in desperate need of a smile makeover! I visited him again at his beautiful clinic in October 2024 for my composite bonding to be replaced! Much like the first time around, my smile was transformed again! I very very rarely smiled showing my teeth prior to my first time being treated by Monik and this time his work has gotten ever better (I'm not sure how that's possible). The detail, artistry and time taken by Monik and his wonderful team to perfect my smile (and make it look natural) are much appreciated! I've recommended him to lots of people including friends, family and a man on a coffee stand in London! I will continue to recommend him and his wonderful team to anyone who needs their teeth sorted! Thank you :) Inés

Had my first consultation in 2018 and haven’t looked back. Monik, Shyam, Will and team are the best - so friendly and hospitable. Always offering an excellent/quality service with a sense of pride. Six years on, I still get compliments and am still delighted with my smile.
Rating: 5 / 5
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the clinic, thanks to Shyam and Monik for their excellent care and attention throughout. I’m delighted with my composite bonding—the results are truly transformative! The entire process was seamless, and I walked out the same day with a brand-new smile created by Monik that exceeded all my expectations. When I returned for my review, Monik spotted a tiny blemish that only a perfectionist dentist would notice and took the time to ensure my teeth were absolutely flawless, even though I thought they already looked perfect. The dedication to detail and commitment to achieving the best results is truly remarkable. Very rare in todays world. Everyone at the clinic is warm and welcoming, making it a wonderful environment to visit. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Best cosmetic dentist in London. I am a dentist interested in aesthetic dentistry and wanted to have composite bonding on my teeth. I knew that I only trusted Monik Vasant to do it as he is amazing, but the result is even more impressive than expected. Thanks to the whole team for making my journey so easy and enjoyable.

Having Invisalign with Dr Stuart Kilner is honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made - I think he might actually be a (dental) genius - ha! I’d never particularly *hated* my smile, but safe as to say, I’d been a bit self-conscious of it for quite a while. I’d considered Invisalign a few times over the years, and after FreshDental were recommended by two friends, I finally plucked up the courage and went in for my first consultation. I honestly don’t know why I waited so long. When we received the initial clincheck from Invisalign, neither Dr Stuart or I were particularly happy with the proposed end result - it wasn’t quite the ‘perfect natural’ shape we’d been imagining. He suggested some tweaks to that initial plan, which were accepted, so then we were able to get started. It took me quite a bit longer than we expected to complete the treatment, due to work commitments (I’m an actor and a trumpeter so I couldn’t wear the retainers whenever I was playing). I was already contracted in a show, when we started the treatments, back in May 2023, and every single day in that show, from the very first day of wearing the retainers, the cast members who I was on stage with would comment how much my teeth and entire mouth shape was changing before their eyes - they couldn’t believe how much change was happening, so quickly, every time they looked at me. It felt very very exciting (and very satisfying!) from day 1! All in all, it’s taken us about 15-ish months to get to the end of treatment (much longer than we initially planned for), but not once did it ever feel like I should be in more of a rush, or that I was dragging my heels. We finished with some composite bonding work on the bottom set (something we hadn’t really planned in the beginning, but decided at the very end that we were a step away from perfection!). And that’s where Dr Stuart’s genius comes in. We did some whitening first, and then the composite. The colour match is wiiiiiiildly perfect, and the shape is stunning and so so natural - something we were keen to achieve. I’m honestly absolutely THRILLED with the finish! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr Stuart and all at Fresh Dental in Paddington for any dental work you need doing. Every single member if staff is truly wonderful - so welcoming from the second you step in the door, and all are brilliant at what they do. I have no doubt you’ll be thrilled too!!

Mielo Restaurant

Foods and services are nice! especially the rice ball and spaghetti we tried! The lamb chop was okay, not particularly like the seasoning, and kinda hope it’d be a bit softer.
Rating: 5 / 5
One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in London. The food was exceptional, the starters, mains and desserts were all elite. I found it really difficult to find something to pick at. The seating was gorgeous and importantly in London, spacious. It was a packed and busy evening and with both tables beside us full, I couldn’t have been more comfortable. The staff are incredibly polite and attentive, making sure our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed at all times. On the way out we were even gifted these little boxes filled with amazing chocolate almonds. Really great experience, highly recommended and I will definitely be revisiting again when in the mood for top tier Mediterranean food.
Rating: 4 / 5
I wouldn't say I was overly impressed, but nevertheless it was good food with good service. I think what spoiled it was how noisy it was, not with people but the live musicians in the corner. Too loud, which meant everyone was talking loudly and we on our table were struggling to enjoy a conversation. Food was good, but not wow. I've had better. Great selection of spirits and wines. A lot of the menu I thought was over priced for what it was. Some was fair. The 15% service charge was a bit much, considering the atmosphere was too busy. Charging £6 for a bottle of water cost £30! So ended up paying over £100 just in service charge and water! That I was not impressed with. I did enjoy the evening and food was good, but unfortunately not worth 5 stars.
Rating: 4 / 5
We visited Mielo as a group of 12 for a Christmas gathering and had a good experience overall. The service was attentive, and the staff made sure we were well looked after. I ordered the lamb loin, which was cooked perfectly and paired nicely with the accompanying vegetables and sauce. However, the portion size was smaller than expected, and I had to order an extra side. The garlic mushrooms were tasty but quite expensive at £6 for a small portion. While the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, the pricing felt a bit high for the portion sizes. Still, it’s a good spot for a special occasion, especially if you don’t mind splurging a little. A nice touch was the small box of chocolates we received at the end which added to the festive feel.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Mielo last night! The food was delicious. In particular the octopus was very tender and all of the meat was high quality. Thank you to Engin and his team, especially the Manager and Jericho for looking after us so well. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere with nice live background music playing. Would highly recommend!

Delicious Harisa Prawn that gives you 6 of em, delicious Penne pomodoro in a solid portion, tasty apple cider that goes down smooth. Tiramisu was absolutely phenomenal, creamy cold powdery, but mixes all excellently. Server was nice. Couldn’t have asked for more. Try this place if you just want a solid restaurant experience at a cheap price

After leaving Winter Wonderland at 3 p.m., we were all frozen and famished, thanks to the maddeningly unforgiving wind in London, and thus desperate for a cosy restaurant to rest a bit and, above all, to have a nice late lunch/early dinner. And there we found this place. By the time we left two hours later, we were all very satisfied and counted ourselves lucky to have chosen it simply by chance. The restaurant was elegantly decorated and peaceful. Tarek, the waiter who attended our table, was droll and helpful. He took great care of our needs and made us feel very welcome. As for the food: for one thing, by fine dining standards, the portions are pleasantly generous. Secondly, the taste was divine. You can tell from the details—for instance, the skin of the chargrilled salmon wasn't just crispy; you could also taste a subtle hint of honey, which added an extra layer of flavour. Another dish that surprised us was the pesto pasta—a fine balance between basil and cheese, not overly oily. The mozzarella in the middle of the pasta, shaped like a round and tender poached egg, was as soft as vanilla ice cream. The appetisers, such as the garlic bread and prawns, were also memorable. The only dish we found a trifle pedestrian (though still delicious) was perhaps the truffle carbonara. But that might have been because our hunger was already satiated. In short, the experience was enjoyable. We'll come back and try some more dishes the next time we're in London.

Super happy with our date night here, staff are very nice and friendly and food was super delicious. Highly recommend Tuna Steak, Salmon Tartar (highlight of our dinner), sea bass. The atmosphere is very good as well. We reallyed liked our wine too, impressed! The only food that I did not like was Salted Caramel Creme Brulee which I found it too sweat.

Hayat Paddington

Rating: 4.8 (1378) Price Level:
This restaurant is a hidden gem. Owned by a gentleman and his cousin, they really make their guests feel welcomed and appreciated. We ordered the chicken and lamb shish along with a side of mixed greens and the flavours blew us away. The lamb was probably the best lamb I've ever tasted, so juicy and tender, and every bite of the chicken left your taste buds craving for more. The atmosphere of the restaurant was chic home-style and the staff was ever so helpful. Would certainly recommend!

I stopped by Hayat Cafe for breakfast, I had eggs Benedict with cappuccino and it was a delightful experience. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the service was impressively quick, and the food was delicious. The cozy ambiance, complete with background music, added to the overall charm. It’s also great to know they serve halal options!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hayat Paddington is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were being welcomed into a close friend’s home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our family feel right at home. Every dish showcased the heart of traditional flavors, prepared with authentic recipes that brought so much warmth and comfort to our meal. It’s rare to find a place that combines amazing food with such a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a taste of heritage and a genuinely friendly dining experience!

Excellent food, minimal but chic decor, wonderful location! We joined the virtual QR queue for a party of 5, and although the recommended wait time was 35 minutes, we waited nearly 15 - 20! My sisters first time trying Turkish Eggs and she loved it!!

Definitely worth the hype! Beam offers a fantastic brunch experience with a stylish, relaxed atmosphere. The French Toast is the absolute standout. A must-visit for anyone in London looking for a top-tier brunch spot!
Rating: 4 / 5
Loved the Beam Benedict- really unique and delicious! Fresh orange juice was lovely as well. Overall food was great :) The only downside is how busy it was, and the servers rushed us to leave the table which was not ideal. We also had the table closest to the door, and asked to move to the table right next to it because my friend was ill and cold was coming through the door, and the servers said no even though the table was free and the same size as ours…

I went to WhitesDental in Marble Arch for an initial consultation with Doctor Edina. She is not only very friendly, but also passionate about her work and a real pro. She assessed my teeth very carefully, walking me through all the issues, presenting everything with photos, recommending treatment and patiently answering my questions. I have to add, I’m a very curious person so it’s not always easy. I’ll definitely do my treatment with Doctor Edina. On top of that, the staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I absolutely recommend Doctor Edina and the clinic to anyone.

My experience at Whites Dental has been great! When I first enquired, I was called in to be seen very quickly. Dr Kiren has been wonderful to work with and I've left very happy following my composite bonding appointment. She has lots of knowledge and skill, answering all my queries and providing suggestions and advice. The care I've received has been great and I would absolutely recommend!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Romina for a tooth filling. She was the sweetest and very informative and patient with me. She made sure I understood what the procedure will be like and how to maintain the tooth’s health after.

I recently visited Dr. Edina at the Marble Arch branch for the first time, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Not only did she address my main concern with care and expertise, but she also took the time to discuss other potential treatments for minor issues I hadn’t even mentioned. Her approach was thorough and reassuring, as she clearly explained all the options and helped me understand how we could address each one over time. It’s rare to find a dentist who is so thoughtful and dedicated to long-term dental health. I highly recommend Dr. Edina to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and professional dentist!

Best lunch I’ve had on the go in London. Lovely service and the place looks great. As someone with Coeliac Disease I was able to discuss options with the staff and found most of the items were suitable, which was a huge bonus. Koftas and the Salmon were a highlight. Highly recommend.

Bayswater Dental Clinic - Emergency Dentist and Invisalign Braces London

Elena the hygienist is excellent. Very welcoming, and thorough with what she does. Not only do you walk away feeling great, she is one of the better hygienists in London - gentle, and cautious of any sensitivities. All the staff at the clinic are lovely, very accommodating and professional. Highly recommend!

I broke my tooth in half and after researching for an emergency dentist around me I found Bayswater Dental Clinic. To begin with, I hate needles and dental treatments but Dr Motahar made me somewhat relaxed, with the way he investigated into the extent of the 'damage', the way he had a thorough discussion with me with regards to the options for my treatment and made me understood what needed to be done. During the process he made sure that I was not experiencing pain and discomfort. I was travelling the following day and he did as much as he could to ensure that I won't have any ensuing problems during my travel. I'll be back in London in November and I'm looking to pursuing a permanent solution to this particular tooth. Thanks guys for looking after me.

15 minutes from call to reception until I was in the chair being treated for an infection. I am a visitor to London and have no previous experience of this team, but if I could travel from home in the Highlands of Scotland for treatment here, I would. Such a kind and friendly team who are extremely efficient. Special thanks to Mitra who was kind and reassuring during my telephone call and a massive thank you to Dr Peyman who stayed late to wait and treat me. Amazing service and care.

My partner went for an emergency procedure on a Saturday. She had to have an initial part extraction done by one of the dentist and needed follow up surgery done on the same tooth two days later. The dentist and the clinic were highly professional. Everything was done to a very high standard. I am fully recovered and would recommend this clinic to anyone.

The staff are very lovely here! I've been to see the dentist for an emergency appointment and the hygienist. Great facility, barely any waiting when you get there and everyone's friendly, polite and professional. Procedures are quite pricey though but that's expected of a private clinic. Would recommend

Such a delightful lunch experience last Sunday! As I mentioned, I really love tiramisu, and my wish came true—it was served in such an authentic way! The pasta was a bit salty for me, as I usually eat less salty food, but the customer service was so pleasant. Thank you for making the reservation and waiting for me there! I also discovered a farmer’s market next to the restaurant, which was another wonderful surprise 🤩. I plan to visit the market every Sunday to pick up some special ingredients for my cooking 🧑🍳. London is treating me well!

The bathrooms here certainly have the wow factor I thought I was in a nightclub 😂🕺🏻 Anyway lovely afternoon lovely location lovely everything can’t wait to come back

*I highly recommend you book, its unlikely you will get a walk-in table for dinner and I watched many people try and fail whilst waiting for my table. Also, you aren't guaranteed a space upstairs, it's wherever you're seated on the system so just keep that in mind if you're main motivation is the aesthetics. A nice edition to the Big Mama chain on restaurants . The restaurant is very showy and extravagant to sit in, with a slightly more muted downstairs area which I was seated in. I preferred this as the tables were less squeezed together and it felt more calm with less people in the way trying to get the best pictures. All the staff were kind and helpful and I found the service to be very good, though a slower than I expected, seeing as you have a time limit for your table (we stayed around 30mins longer than the amount we were meant to have). That being said, we still had a 3 course meal and didn't feel rushed at all which was excellent. The food was very good (definitely preferred over Ave Mario where I found the food salty and not well seasoned) though I personally wish there was less items on the menu that were so heavily cheese centred. I had the seafood pasta and the amount of seafood included was decent but not overly generous. Portions in my opinion are good, after finishing my food I was certainly full up. The drinks were good and the seats comfortable. Our bill was around £220 plus service charge for 2 people and we had antipasti to share, a primi (pasta) and a dessert each and 3 alcoholic drinks, mainly being cocktails. Not the cheapest of places but I would recommend for an occasion or a nice treat.
Rating: 4 / 5
Food was nice but lacking in a bit of substance. There were two prawns in a £36 bowl of pasta and two meatballs in my partners pasta. Service was virtually non-existent and we had to flag our waiter for drinks and they remove the drinks menu each time. They tried to remove my starter which was not finished when they brought our mains and one of the dishes was chipped. Atmosphere is lovely but I wouldn’t return and don’t rate the value for money aspect.

Had an absolutely amazing Sunday afternoon with friends celebrating friendships and achievements. The Doctor was the best waiter ever ! Hospitable and helpful with food recommendations ! The atmosphere is great and love the energy of the place. I love my burrata the most. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a great Italian restaurant in the London area !
