Food was fine, nothing to write home about but OK. The service was good, friendly and helpful staff quick service Found the place cold and very noisy and good number of children screaming and crying may be better later in the evening. Beware of the Car, Parked in a Disabled bay, displayed my badge used the pub and nothing else and got a £100 fine from Euro Car Parking... I will NOT BE GOING BACK TO THE CROWN when you can not even park in their car park without getting a bloody ticket. I'm happy to say that since this review was first posted the crowd have reached out to us and have arrange for the parking change to be cancelled.

I was recently involved with a film production which was filming in the area and The Crown Inn team went above and beyond to welcome the production team whilst we was in the area. Not only did they allow us to reserve a section of the pub for our lunch over x3 days, they also gave us permission to use a large section of the car park to situate some of our tech and crew vehicles. The whole experience dealing with them was second to none. They took great care to facilitate our booking from an early stage and the communication / customer service was impeccable. I hope to be back in the area to pop in to this establishment again. Not to mention the quality of the food and drink. Hats off to the whole team. Best Wishes, Jack

Always a warm reception here at the crown... Geoff and the team are extremely welcoming... I've been to site a few times to do work for M and B... Yesterday we came to look at the flat roof but the weather was against us. The Crown Inn is lovely and clean, very tastefully decorated and each time I've visited it's had a great atmosphere... The food looks fresh and inviting and they run some great offers. There is a smashing team of experienced staff that work here, all really friendly, which makes for a more pleasant eating / drinking experience... Outside smoking huts to keep dry and warm. Ample parking Just be sure to put your registration in on the machine inside for the free parking... Thanks to Geoff and the team for another warm welcome and for looking after us while on site.... The "Grill" menu is excellent. If you like food coming to you piping hot this is for you. My salmon was perfectly cooked, the vegetables juicy and the rice tasty. The other dish is Chinese spiced pork belly. The meat was tender but the whole dish tended to be a bit oily. Food came in good time and Rosie was attentive and courteous.

Nice food at a fair price. Portion sizes a little small so had to order two sides to accompany the main meal. Staff very friendly and efficient. I would recommend if you are in the area.
