Great golf course & facilities. The front nine is fairly flat, but the back nine is quite hilly & requires a certain amount of fitness. The Spike Bar welcomes non-members where you can have something to eat & drink. Friendly professionals in the shop who are very helpful.

Georgia and the team did an amazing job of looking after us and making our wedding day so unforgettable. Everyone has been so amazing and helpful and we couldn’t be more grateful to you all. We had so many compliments from guests about how delicious the food was and also how it all came out hot. You made everything so easy and nothing was a problem at all. Excellent golf club with brilliant facilities and a modern air about it. A fabulous golf range that is fully automated plus spike bar that’s full of atmosphere. The course itself is a good test of golf for the low or high handicapper and if the weather comes in it really adds another dimension to the challenge.

Really nice course and clubhouse. It's got a quality series of par 3 holes - all of them are very good. I was disappointed when we got stuck behind a six-ball that jumped in. I'm not sure if that's a regular thing members do here, but i still enjoyed the course and facilities.

Great experience today, shame we didn’t have time for a beer after very well kept and great layout. Only criticism would be bunkers didn’t have enough sand in some, overall though one of best courses I’ve played well worth the money

Played here last week. Considering I lived in this area for over 20 years I've never played here. Course in fantastic condition, lots of different holes, my only gripe is we teed off 35 minutes after the booking time, from other other people said this is a regular occurrence here. Didn't ruin the day though.

I dare anyone to find a better value course than Sandwell Park golf club. From the play out, to the carpet like fairways, the tree lined fairways and the friendly staff/members. Just a lovely lovely parkland course hidden away from suburbia.

A hidden oasis and nice place/one of the best courses in the area. Apart from the entrance/exit (turning right) onto the main road and parking being a bit tight then all is good. Well run and recommended

Beautiful woodland course. The course was in excellent condition with some challenging holes. There's plenty of bunkers & a few water hazards. The clubhouse is large with adequate parking.

Lovely course. Trees and fairways provide a good challenge but ball easily found if a bit wayward. Tee times seemed very reasonable and not too rushed . Amazing how good the ground and greens were despite the rain

Played in the Open here on Saturday 20th May. Course in great condition, a good challenge, and a really friendly welcome. Give the course a try I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff very welcoming and nice outside seating area.The course was very good and the greens were brilliant. I just wish other players would repair there pitch marks. I would recommend anyone to try this place. We will certainly be returning.

Smartly decorated clubhouse with breathtaking views towards the Clent hills. Seated patio. The steward has made it clear that non-members are welcome to use the facilities, though muddy boots should be cleaned before entering. Great coffee.

As a member I play here a lot, but it never gets any easier. Don't let the short yardage fool you, this is as tough a test of golf as you'll find in the Midlands. Very hilly, tight fairways with lots of trees and slopes to catch you out. You need to be accurate and patient!

The club house is down a long lane, not much lighting during the evening. Had a Christmas meal in the club house and it was delicious, plentiful and we cooked. The soup was really tasty, the mashed potatoes were fluffy and well seasoned. There was plenty of turkey too. I'm not normally one to dive into red cabbage but this was lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a good selection of drinks, a separate area for coats, and nice clean facilities. All at a very reasonable price. Would definitely come back. 😊

Visited for a Children's Santa breakfast but it is a beautifully kept Golf course. The grounds are beautiful and picturesque.

Somehow, off a 9 handicap index I had a 7 playing handicap! Maybe it was the 45mph wind but it wasn't easy! Some stunning holes.... 1 is a nice opener 2 is a risk reward 3 a cracking par 5 up hill! 4 a quirky little par 3 with a 10 foot layered green 8 the par 6! (Bit bland actually but still a par 6 at 666yds off the yellows and 725 off the blues! Back 9 equally had some really nice variety of holes, ending with the TPC Sawgrass style 17th which is the final test at West Midlands. The welcome was less than perfect but as a golf course...well worth a trip

Beautiful Golf Club with a great course not so far from Birmingham City Center.. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend a visit. Located between Solihull and berkswell. Has the longest hole, par 6 720 yards with an 18 hole, par 72 (6288 yard), public, parkland golf course designed by Mark Harrhy, Nigel Harrhy & David Griffith.

Awesome experience. Beautiful place in the nature with great views, plenty of place to take a short walk, sit and have a sip of tea/coffee. We also ordered some foods. Nachos was very good. Prawn cocktail, however, was not. Coffee was one of the best I have ever had. Going again for sure.

Just wanted to chill out somewhere on a Sunday afternoon and what better place to do that. Chilled out atmosphere, with plenty of outdoor seating. Nice bar, didn't have food, but will next time. Great views. Great service. Enjoyable afternoon.

Also it has to be shared is that Alyson the waitress was a joy to speak too with smiles and laughter,and so considerate and kind with precious Mom. It was a special day for us all as we was celebrating our 89 year old Mom's breast cancer being smaller than previous scans.

Had the best overnight stay, afternoon tea and breakfast! The staff couldn't do enough for us, were attentive and friendly from start to finish. So nice to hear from one member of staff during breakfast how much they loved the place. Michelle was lovely throughout the afternoon tea. Sam W and Lucy were brilliant throughout our massages, professional and so knowledgeable! Already booking our next stay for March.

We recently used The Belfry Hotel for business meetings and the experience was excellent. The facilities were well maintained, professional, and suited our needs perfectly. A special mention to Alison, who was outstanding. Her attention to detail, efficiency, and willingness to help made a real difference. Nothing was too much trouble, and she ensured everything ran smoothly. The rest of the staff were equally accommodating, always on hand and proactive in their service. It’s clear they prioritise customer experience. Highly recommend The Belfry for business events, great service, great team.

What a fantastic afternoon tea my husband and I have just had! Food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We had plenty of time to finish which was good as there was plenty of food and free drink refills. A special mention to Alyson and Michelle, our servers, who were very attentive and down to earth. All that for £49 - bargain!

We get to work at a lot of Golf Clubs, at a recent wedding we found the staff @ Aston Wood Golf Club, very polite & helpful, the drinks were well priced, easy access and loads of parking first rate keep up the good work guys

I used Aston Woods to hold my Wife’s wake and can I just say thank you so much. It was a large funeral approx 200 people. We were given the Fotherly suite at the back of the clubhouses overlooking the golf course.(it also has a very large patio area outside and fortunately the weather gods were on our side)the buffet was excellent and so were the staff.Finally a massive thank you to the management team of Lucy and John they were superb from start to finish nothing was too much trouble.Thank you Aston Woods for making a sad day so beautiful I would recommend this place to anyone

Every year four local golf clubs formed in 1892 compete for the centenary salver. Moseley, South Staffs, Stourbridge, and Kings Norton. This year it was the turn of Stourbridge to host the 2021 event. Kings Norton were the winners.

I've played here several times over the years, most recently yesterday. The members we played with were very welcoming and excellent hosts. There are some quirky holes where the fairways cross over each other, which I can imagine may cause a bit of confusion if you hadn't played here before. The course itsself was in very good condition, after all the rain we'd had over the past few days it wasn't damp under foot at all, and the greens ran true. We had a very lovely chicken dinner which was served by the kitchen staff who were very professional and polite.

Played in the well organised winter open on 13 December and thoroughly enjoyed the course. First things first, you can get a seriously good (and reasonably priced) breakfast roll to start things off. The welcome in the pro shop and the bar was very friendly and welcoming, both from the staff and the members we met. I enjoyed the variety in the course, which was in very playable condition. The par 4 15th was my favourite hole, involving a tough drive, dogleg and steep climb up to green. I got a 5, but it felt like a par!! Definitely intend to visit again.

Played using the 1892 reciprocal agreement with 7 others. We were made to feel so welcome by both staff and members. Course was in great conditionwith challenging greens. Would go back anytime.
