Excellent course, good test of skills, well maintained, friendly atmosphere.

First time playing Pontefract today, excellent staff, great course and really good club house.

Course in decent nick, although it could get seriously boggy when real winter arrives. Gale force winds and crazy amounts of leaves blowing around, but enjoyable nevertheless. Food was good too, recommended.

We had a very good welcome. The breakfast was very good. We played at the end of March and there were still a few wet patches on the course. The Mckenzie greens were in good condition. We look forward to visiting again

Bunker refurbishment program well on it's way, paths being upgraded & scrub areas extensively cleared throughout the winter, the golf club has a offer of £750 FM & no joining fee. Greens take ball all year round, no matter what club you use.
