Played the course today 12th January 2025 for the first time
With all the rain,snow and frost we have had over past few weeks the course played well even though a bit Icy and frozen ground in parts and sparse patches of snow
Good value for the cost
Will be back when weather improves
Only one downfall was the pond on 1st hole lol😳⛳🏌♂️😃
We came back from France for my sister in laws birthday meal held at the Golf club on the 9th of November. A very pleasant setting with friendly, welcoming staff. One of the bar staff was particularly helpful, I didn't have a poppy to commemorate Armistice day as I had arrived the day before. She very kindly found one for me.
I would strongly recommend it.
Fairways are really nice to hit off. Spongy and in great condition. Greens are a little dry in places but very true.
Some short par 4's but also some brutal par 4's. Lovely layout and thoroughly recommend it.
Saw someone's bag in the pond on the 18th which made me chuckle. Though surprised no one has cleaned it up and put it in a bin as seems to have been there a long time.
