Went to a private party. It was a great venue and a beautiful location. The staff were exceptional, the buffet was good and the venue was very accommodating regarding the room decocorations.

Had a great day at Heaton Moor Golf Club, Weather was kind, greens ran true. exactly what you look for in a golf club. Friendly members, good bar & the pro was helpful.

Society day, really enjoyed it, nice course. Captain of club, what a nice chap seen us all tee off, give us some insights of the course and was still there to see us all in + prior to our meals before seeing us off home, thanking us for going to his club on the day, and saying he'd wishing we'd go back again in the future. Thank you very much 👌

A lovely golf course and very challenging, not long, but very tricky, you have to be very straight or you are in trouble. A 180 yd club will be perfect for most holes as the fairways will do the rest. Majority of bunkers are GUR but the greens are very good. Gentlemen called Paul in the pro shop was an absolute gentlemen and pleasure to meet, he could not do enough for me. I will be revisiting.

Held our funeral wake on Friday for my father in law.. Prestwich staff were superb and very attentive and the food was excellent and reasonable. Can highly recommend for any type of venue hire

Prestwich golf club is a inner city parkland course that you can complete in just over 3hrs offering a good challenge with a nice club house and friendly members

Lovely golf course to play on. Highly recommended for beginners too. And the greens were outstanding, not a bit of moss/weed in them.

Had a poor winter with greens suffering due to the unprecedented rainfall but has well and truly turned the corner now. The introduction of the new head greenskeeper along with the hard work of the current staff has got the greens back to their best and the fairways are fantastic. Great value for money. Good to see it back to the standard it should be!

An enjoyable round of golf and never overly crowded. Teed off at 2pm and nobody followed us so me and wife had a great 3hours. Although not too many golfers were around the wildlife was just as entertaining. The route to the course is also as entertaining. It follows the line of the canal but needs resurfacing as the undulating road is part single, part double lane which you cannot speed down as unexpected cars appear around each sharp corner. The bar is ok but as I have designed many golf clubs in my time it could do with a good redesign to take advantage of the great surrounding landscape and aspects over the greens that surround the the club. There are the usual training rooms with in-house golf pro teachers for the young golfers wanting to learn the skills we older golfers would have wanted to have access to when we first started to learn the sport/pastime. Wonderful time playing golf in the sunshine.

Beautiful course. Friendly staff and members. 10th hole sign for No Drivers allowed on the hole needs to be more prominent. I totally missed it because the tee box is way in front of the sign. If it wasn't for a member telling me, I was hitting driver... Will definitely visit again

Excellently maintained municipal course with some really challenging holes. Easy to book and great value for money. Five stars.

As a beginner, find the course short enough to be achievable for most in a reasonable time frame, while also encouraging good play and course management in how you play (rather than raw distance off the tee if clubhead speed is something you struggle with). Minimal facilities but drinks, snacks and golf essentials (gloves, balls, etc) available and really friendly staff. Very well maintained course throughout; I've been back twice already!

Great course. Some puddles today as expected due to the lovely Manchester rain but the guys were on the course sorting them out

Had some good fun in this place, definitely a quirky place with some good and fun ideas for crazy golfing, something different than other crazy golf spots. Would recommend to groups and for a fun time out for most people who want to try and activity out. They have different areas, a bar for drinks at any time, and fun arcade section to bring back some old memories (I played street fighter and guitar heroes) and a good mix of music to get your jam on at the same time. A word of warning for those who struggle with strobe lighting, there is a lot of flashing lights which can be problematic for some people.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and we completed 2 courses while we were there. For 4 players this took us just over 1.5 hours. The holes were creative and had different themes. I would highly recommend this place.

1st time playing Crazy Golf was really fun. This place has the retro vibe on point. 2 things I was not too impressed was the air con was too stuffy making it very hot esp when on the golfing course and the fact you serve beers in plastic cups for me personally ruins the taste of the beer.

Junk Yard Golf Club is an absolutely fantastic place to spend time with loved ones and friends. Zuzanna welcomed us very friendly and explained everything as we played for the first time. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. Not only is the beer reasonably priced, but the courses are brilliantly designed, offering a fun mix of challenging and quirky obstacles. It’s the perfect spot for a fun day or night out with friends, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience.

Blackley GC. Pro shop, Bar, all staff and members I encountered were great. Very friendly. Great food. Great club house. Pro shop well stocked. The golf course is a good course. Greens are in great condition and very consistent around the course. The course is mainly flat, only some slight bumps and a couple of blind tee shots. Blackley is a good-looking golf course with some nice water features and bridges. Flower beds and pots. Very well presented. The only reason for a 4☆ review is because of the fairways. They must suffer in wet conditions as they still had some deep mud in places. A shame really but it must be hard for them to have good drainage being a flat course.

Fantastic club, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff, large function room and the food is amazing. Love the balcony and views

Very good pitch and putt course, has plenty of features and challenges that will bring you back playing it again and again - no two rounds are the same. Generally has been well maintained and a few holes now have new teeing off mats however some need replacing.

I’ve played here a lot over the years and the new guys running it have got it into the best condition I’ve ever seen it. Quite hilly and a lot of blind shots but if you’re hitting it straight it’s not a problem. Some excellent holes and some amazing views. One of the best courses in the north west without a doubt.

Me and My 2 boys contacted them to play when we travelled to Manchester from Boston in May 2023. They were very helpful and nice. Rental clubs were available, and course was a fun change from local Boston courses. Staff was great..... Recommend for a fun day.

Great course. Fantastic views some really good holes. Ended up with a birdie and five pars. Shot under 100 for the first time. Only negative play was really slow. Got stuck behind two four balls and I was on my own. Some daunting tee shots but a great challenge

Good size function room with bar available

We came back from France for my sister in laws birthday meal held at the Golf club on the 9th of November. A very pleasant setting with friendly, welcoming staff. One of the bar staff was particularly helpful, I didn't have a poppy to commemorate Armistice day as I had arrived the day before. She very kindly found one for me. I would strongly recommend it.

Fairways are really nice to hit off. Spongy and in great condition. Greens are a little dry in places but very true. Some short par 4's but also some brutal par 4's. Lovely layout and thoroughly recommend it. Saw someone's bag in the pond on the 18th which made me chuckle. Though surprised no one has cleaned it up and put it in a bin as seems to have been there a long time.

I've just joined here as a member but have previously played a few times as a guest. I'm not 100% sure why but I love the course more every time I play it. What's refreshing about DPGC is that it starts on a par 3 so you're not throwing your back out with a driver on a par 5 without 1st warming up. Facilities are great and the members create a very welcoming community. If any criticism, that would come from my partner who would like a few more wine options behind the bar 😂. Highly recommend!

Played here on Thursday 05/09. What a golf course this is. Every hole so picturesque. Can’t believe I haven’t played it before. Will certainly be playing it again. And soon. Great course, great clubhouse and food and really friendly members

I played this course in their pairs open. The club house has real history built in 1939 and looks near identical to the clubhouse at Childwall and birkdale. Man United had pre match meal here years ago. The internal parts looks nice with revolving door, panelling etc. I did not lose a ball so it's all in front of you although I was lucky find my ball in the water on the third. On this hole go big and right because if you are not long enough a second tree near the green will prevent you hitting it. The starter was on hand at the first and officials in the club house to register, it was well organised. Pace of play was good but not knowing the course a few times those in front waited, then we waited for them and those waited for us. It's mainly hitting to places we think needs hitting and putting balls in wrong places. A few times we misclubbed and you end up bogey after hitting two good shots. Not a tree person but this course has plenty, all sorts colours and shapes and sizes, some I hit and lucky end up in the open or in play. I thought I heard a lot of woodpeckers only be to told there were lots of parrots leaving there. Lots flying round! The 18 is a great finishing hole with big trees in the way. I hit straight over, right and ended in trees but was able punch a little eight left of bunker and two putt par. Tip take on the left side if you can as the third will be easy. The first is a par three and a little testy but my partner got four for two. It helps with play as you need wait for green to clear, once you walk off the green back slightly to the second you'll find those in front gone. Keep a pace and it should work out. Around the green side bunkers etc is juicy rough, nice and green. It defines the greens great but does seem to grab the ball. I though I was into the green only to be in it. I found it tough getting a touchy/feelie shot out of it and left it well short. Keep away from these areas. It's relatively flat so easy on the feet. Some holes are tree lined and define them great. I can go through holes as I played them now so still in my memory. The 17 a nice little par three over a pond. I found the fairways a little long and soft but I'm told they keep it like that. When it was dry and hard the course played daft! The greens were really good and I struggled read them well enough. A long putt starting on the wrong line puts real pressure on the next putt, then a three putt comes. Better putters or players should be OK on these to read and if I went again I would look from the other side to confirm the start line. They are not flat! After that par to finish the locker/shower room was clean and tidy usable. At the bar food and drink avaliable and staff polite and friendly. Order taken, out comes the cash 'it's card only'. Not a problem for me but bear in mind if you do go in. The course is easy accessible off the motorway and with a later tee and meal meant we missed traffic issues. I can imagine it's busy at times so leave early. Go again yeah, I'd like to play a better round and position off the tee and rolling in a few would help.

First time playing here and despite the garbage weather we've been having the course was in pretty decent condition. Price could have been a bit better since two holes were closed and playing on temporary greens but overall a great place. Can't wait to play again when it's dry out.
