In October 2023 we decided that we would like to have a garden watering system installed, that would not only do our flower beds but lawn too. I looked on various websites and LG Pro Landscaping had some of the best reviews I had seen thus far. I called Loreto and he came over to give us a quote. He also said that we could include the two massive 1200 litre water butts that we had previously installed down the side of the house, to provide whatever water they held. They were very busy…always a good sign, but hopefully could start the job at the beginning of December dependent on the weather. They were true to their word and during the second week in December they turned up at 08.00 and quickly started removing the old bumpy lawn, having notified us before. Once the lawn had been removed they could do nothing more until the irrigation people came in to set up the system, which they did very quickly. The pipes were laid every 30cms throughout the lawn and a different type of pipe was laid in the flower beds. It all looked very neat indeed. Come rain or shine they turned up, cheerful and happy and I would bring them out a cup of coffee every hour to keep them warm on the very cold days that followed. At the end of the day, before they left they would always leave the site clean and tidy, clearing up stray leaves that might have fallen and any mud that was present on the patio or paths. For us it was a very happy time as we had had the experience of some really awful builders the year before so Loreto and his crew absolutely restored our trust in human nature and the goodness thereof. The weather then got really cold so much so that the turf could not be laid. However they still came to lay a new layer of good quality top soil so that it was ready for the turf when it was finally warm enough to be ordered and put down. As you will see by the photographs, they even managed to lay our lawn with the stripes that we strive to achieve when we are mowing! A lovely and thoughtful touch I thought. We also asked Loreto if he could fix our driveway which was made un-level by the builders. They had constituently overloaded the skip so that when it came time for its removal the bricks were compressed down. This meant that we had a persistent puddle forming around the drain and also a tip hazard (both my husband and I are not in the prime of our youth and this can happen). Loreto did a fantastic job again. In fact it was even better than it had been originally! In summary, I would recommend LG Pro Landscaping to EVERYONE who wants their chosen gardener to turn up when they say they will, take MASSIVE pride in there work and are friendly and pleasant to work with. They really do go above and beyond for their clients! Thank you Loreto and your crew, for all the work you did on our behalf, it was the first time we had used your expertise but it certainly won’t be the last!

Loreto and his team have been looking after our garden for over 2 years and always do a fantastic job. Nothing is too much trouble and he’s always on hand for advice. Our garden looks beautiful all year around. We partially love our stripy lawns.
