Aylwin was very helpful in providing a consultancy service to help us re-design a small part of our garden. His creative perspective was invaluable. Aylwin created a beautiful, dreamy cottage garden for us and we can’t thank him enough - it’s like a scaled-up version of a Chelsea Garden Show display. We’re so proud of it and everyone loves it. Review of Beyond the Borders Garden Design, Alton, Hampshire. Excellent design work at a fair price. Aylwin is very approachable and knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping. Our brief had several constraints including an old concrete rainwater collection system, various different levels, and plants to conserve . Aylwin took on board our requirements and produced a design using clay pavers which managed to draw everything together and complement the garden and house.

I've worked with Aylwin over the past 18 months. We'd not long moved into a house with a garden that was best described as a 'blank canvas'. Aylwin worked with my wife and me to develop an initial detailed layout for the garden, prepared detailed planting plans for the various areas of the garden, purchased the plants and then planted them. He's now helping me on an ad hoc basis to manage the garden, my gardening skills being sadly lacking. I can't speak highly enough of the work that Aylwin has done for us. We now have a wonderful garden that we absolutely love and find easy to maintain.

I couldn't be happier with the wonderful design and finished garden which completely met the brief and exceeded my expectations. Aylwin was meticulous in preparing the garden and making sure that what i wanted was possible, not an easy task given the rotten ground my original garden presented him with. He also gave me a comprehensive guide to maintaining everything and has been on hand to offer ongoing advice. I now have a beautiful garden that has been much admired.
