John Gales Landscapes undertook a major job at our home. Everything was more than satisfactory, a really high quality job that will last. He was ready to discuss minor adjustments and many are not happy to do that...would and will invite him to work with us again.

I was very happy with the garden makeover which John and his team carried out. The work was to a very high standard and the finished look was excellent. We love it.

We have a relatively small garden in SW London with specific problems: surrounded by large trees and with a lot of shade which means that grass and plants are not easy to grow well. We wanted to retain as much existing paving and plants as possible to keep our costs down and were aiming to end up with a low maintenance garden with specific areas for us to sit in, and lots of space for pots whilst retaining a 'green' aspect that is welcoming to wild life. We started to talk to John after looking at his website and some of the work he has done, which we liked. We were in no hurry and talked to John over the summer. We felt John wanted to be very clear about what we wanted to achieve, he did not push us in any direction but did help us to understand some of his design principles. We went through a process of reviewing design proposals and ended up with a final design with detailed costings for every aspect. That made it easy for us to make decisions about what we wanted to spend. John started on the day agreed, his team were polite, friendly and hard working. They were careful about tidying up, did not waste anything, and were clearly experienced in carrying out this type of work. John finished on time, and we are delighted with the result. We would recommend John to anyone thinking of a redesign of their garden.

John listened to what I wanted and came up with some totally innovative designs for the garden of my new build... from a muddy mess to a super-sleek garden complete with planting in all the colours I can see (I'm colourblind). It's utterly brilliant and totally unique...we all love it.

The Sage team have done a fantastic job of our replacement fencing. They worked very hard to overcome some very challenging ground conditions and have erected some really good quality, great looking panels with concrete posts and gravel boards. Highly recommended.

Sage have looked after my Garden for 8 years, both in terms of maintenance and re-design including installation of new lawns, hedges, and paving. They have always been super professional, the service and attention to detail is second to none. They are super reliable, even during the heat wave they came extra early. Not a low cost solution but totally worth it. First class.

Great experience with Thomas, Tobias, Candice and all the hard workers at Sage. The work was done to a really high standard and Thomas really helped with the creative design. Sage have all the kit and left the site in a really clean state. Highly recommend.

So pleased with our new patio! Tony and Richard did a fantastic job, delivered exactly what we asked for. They were thoroughly professional and very friendly. They left our place spotless, we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Had Tony and Richard to replace the old fencing which was completely overgrown with ivy and clematis. The fence was in pieces and totally rotten. The other side had beech trees about 10ft high taking all the light from the flower beds. They worked with professionalism and courtesy in doing the required work to rip out all old fencing, replace with contrete posts and new fence panels as well as putting a 20 x 8 concrete base down. I would have no hesitation in using their services and skills again. PS they love their cup of tea! Many thanks to you both.

We've been having Alex and his team for 3 weeks and the garden has never looked so good, they are super quick and really know what they are doing to get the best results.

Mark was great, helping us with some household tasks including realigning some kitchen cabinet doors (including an integrated freezer) and with a misaligned shower door. He was able to fit us in at short notice, was prompt and very friendly. The work was completed to a high standard, and his rates are very reasonable. I would highly recommend Mark’s services - finding a reasonable and reliable handyman is hard - but Mark certainly fits the bill!

Literally brilliant! Can’t recommend enough. Mark is diligent, hard working, honest and tidy! We have come to rely on him regularly to help with those “must do jobs” that 2 full time working parents, never get around to doing.
