Very welcoming, had a buffet for a family event. Nice neighbourhood pub, just came across as a good environment inside and outside. If I was nearby I would definitely come back.
I was calling around local bakers on Tuesday afternoon, and had no luck with finding someone that could help, but on my last call I was advised to phone the Gardeners Arms as they might do outside catering.... It was worth a call... and now I cant thank the Gardeners Arms enough especially Rachel, I made a call on Tuesday afternoon for help with a small buffet for a wake on Thursday of the same week, we had been let down very badly by someone else, Rachel was very helpful, understanding and on Thursday we had a fantastic buffet set up at our venue. The buffet was plenty and we even had some left over, we had more people turn up than expected but there was still enough. Absolutely amazing service and I cant thank you enough for your help.
Popped in here today Saturday 24 , such a lovely gem of a village pub , good food, very helpful with setting up child's highchair, wheelchair accessible friendly staff will definitely be going back and very soon .
I have been visiting pubs for the past 43 years and I have never seen such good service.
Afra, Clair and the whole team behind the bar are simply first class.
Big credit to them and to the manager for doing such a fantastic job.
I've popped in here for years. Great with families and friends. Highly recommend. Hayden and Sarah are doing a great job!
