We have had the most amazing experience with Ann-Marie Powell Gardens. I would thoroughly recommend this garden company for their talent, skill and friendly professionalism. We started using Ann-Marie's design services about 6 years ago to completely revamp an existing cottage garden and have maintained a rewarding ongoing relationship; replanting the garden as and when we think of new ideas. Currently our garden is shortlisted under AMP's name for the Society of Garden Designers Awards and has previously been much televised and photographed for publication - a testament to the quality of AMP's work. However, more importantly for us we are now in possession of a very unique, much loved and much appreciated garden. Thanks Ann-Marie!

Ann-Marie took what was almost a field and turned it into a stunning, colourful garden, where I can potter, relax and admire the insects and amphibians now residing there. She listened to my wish for strong, vibrant sometimes clashing colours and designed big blocks of colour with bright scarlets against purple and orange and red - wonderful!

Over the 15 years Anne Marie has been working in our garden she does not cease to amazing in her ability to create interesting designs and bring them to fruition. Anne Marie Powell Gardens have put us in contact with some amazing contractors and has given us the garden of our dreams!

Ann-Marie came to give us advice about how to proceed with our developing garden. Having filled in a very comprehensive questionnaire, she came armed with a lot of good advice, ideas and inspiration. Her enthusiasm is infectious and we found her help invaluable

I contacted Alex and his team about a post-winter garden refresh and clean up and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The team were professional and did a fantastic job in our garden that needed a lot of TLC. Alex managed to fit us in at short notice and got the job done efficiently. The pricing was reasonable and worth every penny because the garden looks awesome. Thank you to Alex and his team and we will be contacting him to come and do some regular maintenance in the future.

Alex and his team have done a wonderful job transforming my garden. They really worked hard and pruned back my shrubs and dug over my borders which are very large. They also are proper gardeners and also very tidy and reliable. I highly recommend them.

We live in a new build house and recently had our blank canvas of a garden landscaped by David and his team, adding 2 patios, a path, stepping stones, a shed base and sleeper beds. The whole process was smooth right from the start and nothing was too much trouble. David worked with us to settle on a design, quickly updating quotes and making suggestions for materials. Work started quickly and the guys on site, Steve and Jeff, were absolutely brilliant. Always on time, polite and professional. They had really practical solutions for all the details that popped up along the way and their input made a huge difference in turning the design into a reality. We're so pleased with how the garden looks now & can't wait for the warmer weather to enjoy it. We cannot recommend Sutherlands highly enough.

Huge thank you to Southampton homes for transforming our garden. The guys really put their stamp on it by suggesting some wicked little details and helping our vision become a reality. After ripping up rotten decking and replacing with sandstone patio, and also building a custom huge pergola to eventually create a living canopy of climbing flowers, creating shade over a second big patio at the end of the garden. This was unused, overgrown useless space before.

I'm very happy to leave a review for Sutherlands, as they recently finished our new driveway and we're very happy with the results. Our old gravel drive was causing some problems inside our house, as it was contributing to damp with poor drainage, so we were worried about finding a company that would not only do a good looking drive, but would be aware of the technicalities of how it was affecting the house itself. Sutherlands understood all this straight away and made suggestions for solving those problems, as well as for doing what was going to look good too. David, the owner, was easy to deal with, with good fast communication. The guys actually doing the work were Steve and Geoff and they were superb - probably the best tradesmen we've ever had on any job. They were decent, friendly, helpful and amazing workers. The care and attention to detail they put in, and their skill at very difficult work was really impressive. Several of our neighbours have even come up to me and said how they noticed how much care and pride they seemed to have in the work they were doing. They seemed to have no problem recommending things that would make their jobs more difficult, going the extra mile for the sake of doing a good quality job. Both of them are a big asset to Sutherlands. We're extremely pleased with the end result and definitely highly recommend Steve, Geoff and Dave of Sutherlands.

We hadn't heard of Sutherlands before, but they had good reviews online so we got them round to quote for some landscaping. They turned up on time, listened to what we wanted and explained what they could do given what they had to work with. Their quote was reasonable and so we booked them to do the job. A couple of days in and we noticed a couple of things that we wanted changing. We pointed this out and the next day they rectified matters without quibble. Thomas was in charge of the job and everything went smoothly. Communication was always good, requests were replied to in good time, Sutherlands were good to their word and always turned up on time. Upon completion there were a couple of small snags which were put right promptly without question. The two new patios and raised flower beds look excellent and we are very pleased with the standard of work done. I would highly recommend Sutherlands, they were easy to deal with and have done a great job.

Edward and Ryan have done a fantastic job in removing and replacing our garden fence, along with concrete posts and concrete gravel boards. Very friendly guys, communication was great, reasonably priced and very quick and efficient in their work. Finished to a high standard, would highly recommend.

Last year Jacob and co replaced my tatty lawn with gravel. They did a great job and also trimmed some trees. Really pleased with results. Trees have thrived! So they definitely have very good skills. I re booked them this year for another tree trim which they did today. They work really hard, are very efficient and clear up every bit of mess.

Jacob was absolutely fantastic did the job really well and his team, gave us a really good quote and then even took a tree and cut down some dead branches for us, which was extremely kind on top of cutting the hedge the hedge looks so much better I would recommend him to anyone and I would use Jacob and his team again Here is before and after photos of our hedge

We are very pleased with the work TM Landscape have completed for us. We had a complete garden with patios, lawn, raised borders & pergola. John was very creative and proud of his work and went to great lengths to get his work right . Kier worked really hard in support of John. I am so pleased with the transformation these guys did to my garden. They listened to my ideas and came up with a design that ticked all the boxes. We modified the design a little as we went, and nothing was a problem. They worked through the awful weather of winter 23/spring 24 and I had a garden that everyone was blown away by Easter. Their attention to detail and professionalism is brilliant and they are great guys to work with.

The whole Whitefoot team were absolutely delightful, spending nigh on a month re-working our rear garden, installing patios, retaining walls, pathway & fencing together with removal of much earth. Almost two years on, we are still delighted with their work, nothing was too much trouble and their happy disposition made for a very relaxed project. Would highly recommend Whitefoot.

Simon, Elliot and the team undertook various Fencing working for us as well as laying a new concrete base for an oil tank. Great communications before and during work, high quality job done and worked easily with the plumber/oil engineer to get everything done right for a smooth connection of the oil tank. Their horticulture team also did a great job preparing and planting all the new borders and trees. Top team, would use again.

We have used Whitefoot landscapes on a number of occasions for erection of a very long fence and also for a couple of landscaping projects. Elliott and his team have always worked conscientiously and to a very high standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

White Foot completed our rear patio and sleeper wall installation. From start to finish the team were professional, respectful and tidy. A key point to our project, was changes that were made as we progressed. The changes were supported by the team and they helped with the vision and design, using their expertise to bring their own ideas into the build, to ensure it looked perfect. After care has also been very good, and White Foot support customer contact with any queries post completion. Highly recommend.

H&H landscapes impressed me with their prompt response and competitive estimate for our patio. During the initial survey David was very professional and reassuringly knowledgeable on the many different types of stone. The finished result was exactly as I had imagined it and looks superb. Everything was left tidy every day and on completion. David is a friendly, cheerful person and I would recommend this company and use them again.

The second half of our project to replace all the old pathways and patio in our back garden has just been completed, and as was the case with the earlier work, the result is stunning. The whole process from initial consultation, through preparing the ground and then laying the new stone and brickwork has proceeded smoothly and was at all times highly professional. The team working in the garden knew what was required and always checked with us if there were any small items of uncertainty about exact detail. They were also very adaptable when we decided to modify a couple of design ideas half way through the work ! They also went to great lengths to ensure that any mess on our front drive associated with the work was completely cleared and hosed down at the end of each day. We would highly recommend Hambrooks, this is now the third time we have used them for garden work and we would certainly use them for any future plans.

The design team were very helpful and gave us all the the time we needed to discuss the plan and go through the detail of the planting. Dave and Jack worked veryhard and were very professional. They were organised and tidied each day. The garden looks great. The only suggestion I made to the design team was that I would have appreciated a talk through care and maintenance of our new planting.

Following receipt of a number of quotations for the task of Bamboo Removal we selected Hambrooks, key factors in the decision were a sensible price, a good reputation, well prepared quotation and some excellent advice on how to proceed. We made the correct choice and are extremely pleased with the completed task which required the removal of some 8m of hedging, about 60% bamboo, and the adjacent lawn. The bamboo rhizomes were removed, the border bed reinstated and a new lawn laid. The overall task was very well planned and efficiently executed, causing minimal disruption and was completed to schedule. The implementation team consisted of Gareth and Alex who were a pleasure to work with and kept us informed every step of the way. The whole task was overseen by the Garden Maintenance Manager Gary who provided the initial quotation and advice, and was prompt and efficient with his communications throughout.

What can I say about Hambrooks, other than delighted beyond my wildest dreams. Thankyou to Emily and her wonderful team, Mark and Gary! Emily designed my garden with a vision that I didn't have and gave me so many different ideas. Mark and Gary worked professionally and nothing was too much trouble.
