A truly special garden, beautifully looked after, with many interesting features. The riverside location is lovely.
We were shown around by Jamie who is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful.

What a treat to visit this beautiful & unusual garden! I urge you to go & see the varied planting, the Nawaki sculpted trees & hedges, the hidden pathways meandering down to the River Wey & through the natualistic but lightly managed wilderness area furthest from the house! Add in the wisteria & rose arches & Pam's herb garden, & the surprising sculptures ( many by Richard Jack) that come into view when least expected. Thank you so much for letting us visit!

A spectacular garden filled with interesting plants, shrubs, trees herbs and sculptures. The knot garden is lovingly taken care of as is the rest of the garden. Jamie kindly took us on a guided tour which we thoroughly enjoyed as he talked us through all the different projects he is currently busy with. A visit to this delightful garden comes highly recommended, there was so much beauty to enjoy! The friendly owners were there to welcome us and invite us in.

I visited these beautiful gardens recently and was blown away by the wonderful work that Jamie has undertaken. The whole experience was both exhilarating and relaxing at the same time! I could have spent the whole day there. The way in which the bushes and trees have been trimmed and shaped is exquisite. It was also great to see that Jamie has left some areas in their natural state in order to attract an abundance of wild life. Overall the garden is an excellent example of what can be achieved through a mixture of dedication, passion and creativity. It's a "Must visit" for anyone who has even the slightest interest in what nature is all about. Keep up the good work, best regards, Headley.

Tilford Cottage garden is worth a visit for sure. You'll find on the slope down to the river a range of gardens with original and quirky details around every corner , combined with wonderful planting, hedges and much more.... Also an adventure for children! It's the home and workplace of Rod Burn, who makes beautiful creations in glass,you can take a look at his great glass-art wich is also for sale
