John and his team at Greens Gardening were fantastic from start to finish. Me and my neighbours needed a new fence after a recent storm. John was able to fit us in within a week and completed the whole job in less than a day. The team were incredibly professional and polite. After the job had finished I sent a bank transfer to pay but without realising I paid too much. John then called me to tell me I had paid too much and promptly sent back what I had over paid. The job itself was done to an excellent standard. I can't praise Greens Gardening highly enough.

John & the team knew exactly what needed doing in fixing my fence, which required timber posts with added cement foundations. I’d had problems with a previous company. We also added a gate at the rear end and the guys did a few extra bits in clearing some stuff away. Very responsive on the communication side which is an added extra. I contacted John via Trust A Trader and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. John was helpful from the get go. He was very clear with what was needed and the cost was very reasonable. We are able to agree a date for the works quite quickly! On the day his team were friendly, they talked me through what they were doing at each stage, showed me the end finish and made some further changes on request. They safely removed old sleepers and replaced with new without any damage to the surrounding areas. It looks great. I would highly recommend John and his team.

Harry and his team were a pleasure to work with. From the design process through to the planting they were thoughtful and professional. A major redesign of the garden was a top priority at the start of my retirement. A chance meeting with Alex Horlick of Harry Holding Studio at Chelsea Flower Show got the ball rolling. I can honestly say that the whole process , from initial design conversations to completion of the build, has been a pleasure. Alex listened carefully to my brief , “bonkers jungle” and created a design which exceeded expectations. The design makes maximum use of the available space, incorporating some much loved existing plants and a sculpture in a really unique and creative way. The build - by a company endorsed by Harry Holding Studio - was extremely professional. I am delighted with the end result and cannot recommend Alex and Harry Holding Studio highly enough.

We worked with Harry and his team over several months to design and create our new garden. We are delighted with the results. The work split into a number of phases. First, design. Harry took the time to understand our needs and preferences and came up with a design that met our brief completely. Inevitably there was some fine-tuning, and Harry was proactive in coming up with new ideas and accommodating in making revisions. Next Harry managed the contractor selection process. He got quotes from two excellent contractors, and again was very helpful in tweaking the design to ensure we could stay on budget. The selected contractor did an excellent job, after which Harry's team came in and planted the garden. It quickly flourished and three months later we had a wonderful, lush garden to enjoy. Harry's team has since been back to do a little maintenance, and we will continue to work with them to keep the garden in good condition. Throughout the process we have been very impressed by Harry's creativity, diligence and commitment to creating a garden we would love. He has built an excellent team around him, all of whom are a pleasure to work with. In case, it isn't obvious, we would strongly recommend!

A fantastic service delivered by warm and professional people - I cannot recommend Oliver James highly enough! We had no idea how to achieve the screening we needed and were extremely grateful for Ollie’s expert and creative ideas which were executed to perfection. It is obvious how much all of the team care about their work, with plants rejected by Ollie because they weren’t up to his high standards, additional plants quickly sourced to achieve thicker screening, and follow up after the job was completed to check all was OK. I am already planning the next round of garden improvements and will only be using Oliver James.

Stunning cafe setting at whatever time of year and very friendly staff. Special shout out to the nursery staff who are happy to repot your home plants for a reasonable fee (during the week only)! Great place to meet up with friends and family.

A place that brings together everything you need from natural agricultural materials and all agricultural supplies under one roof. It is distinguished by its excellent organization and beautiful setting. Located in the heart of the city, it is easily accessible to everyone. A visit truly worth your time!

It is an absolutely stunning place with a wide range of indoor and outdoor plants. Only 10 minutes walk from Paddington Station. They have bulbs to bloom soon, small trees, plants to planters for balcony, and so on. The coffee shop is gorgeous, and the food is excellent.

Beautiful green spot just in the heart of the city. The park is well maintained and net so busy... grab your ice cream from the local shop and enjoy your hot summer.

I’m regularly in the area having recently purchased an apartment just a stones throw away from the gardens. I often come here during the early hours of the morning after completing my run to meditate for a short period and it’s usually pretty much empty then. The gardens appear small at first glance but as you walk through, you soon realise it’s much bigger with more seating space further down. There’s something I cannot explain about the energy of this place-there’s this sense of serenity I feel here like nowhere else.

Happy to report this place bends towards the Mother-Nature-knows-best, wilding kind of resting place, in common with the 'Magnificent Seven', those grand (& much more landed) Victorian cemeteries of much renown and excellent PR. Of note, two other comments: due to this garden's small dimensions, the oxygen generators (plants) are rather up against it, boxed in on all sides as they are by the typical 3+3 lane local petrol/diesel highway, a scale so obviously bloated and pro-car that it has been almost banished from South, East and North London with only positive effects for the other road users and those who like to breathe air; yet they are still common in west London. At a guess, there may be still just enough vocal gas-guzzling upper-middle showoffs left to bully the authorities here that the right to accelerate and brake a Porsche SUV in 200 yard stretches between each set of traffic lights trumps the value of a healthy generation of children with a planet to live on. Why anyone ever said west London was the superior part, with motorway traffic on practically every other corner, don't ask me!

A well kept public gardens opposite lords cricket ground.Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leads. The ground-men / gardeners work extremely hard to keep this a peaceful and well maintained public space. There is a small children’s playground that keep the grandchildren occupied and during the summer deckchairs are available on the main green. The flowerbed are stunning and bursting with colour during the summer months. The gardens are so peaceful and just a short stroll to St Johns Woods High Street.
