I was lucky enough to experience this cafe on a quiet sunny morning. Great service, great food with a stunning view of the bay. Couldn't ask for more! Definitely be returning đ

The hot rock night is the best thing I've done in Weymouth recently. The courses are amazingly presented, promptly too. The starter was a generous portion of pate, not the spoonful you'd usually get at a restaurant. The fillet steak was so juicy, and cooking it yourself is something really fun and different too. The cheeseboard usually comes with sides, but upon request, I was served only cheese and crackers. All the cheeses were tasty, and all had character. The restaurant is a seaside cafe in the day, so do expect the stereotypical plastic tablecloth and sauce caddy, but it still is amazing. Getting to the restaurant is a bit of a pain, it's a giant sliding door down some stairs. I just knocked on the window because it looked closed, but all was good.

We went to get ice-cream and discovered they did steak nights. You need to book in advance, but can book for same day. You can opt to sit in or let them know you'd like sit outside overlooking the sea. The fish was cooked well. The steaks were delicious, served on a hot stone to cook to your preference with a side plate to decant onto. We didn't have pudding but the options were waffles, sundaes and cakes. No corkage, so bring your own alcohol. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would go again.

Very reasonably priced for a full English breakfast. Not only that, a great view overlooking the beach. Staff were very attentive & friendly. Ate there twice and had no complaints on both occasions. Would definitely use again.

1st time visiting in a number of years, as I was inn the area and had arranged to meet friends. Quick and efficient booking system, meant I had a table reserved. It was a Friday night, so relatively busy but still managed to get served our drinks quickly and they continued to flow regularly. Ordered food, which was delivered to our table after no more than a 30 minute wait. A very good sized, juicy & tasty burger was devoured fairly quickly! Overall was a good as I remembered from my very first visit...

We have been into this place a few times while on holiday, and every time the food is spot on. You order at the bar, to one of the friendly staff. Food took around 15-20 minutes to come out, and it was very hot. I had the double cheese burger, which had a hint of spice in, and was amazing. We also had the chicken wings, Ham, egg and chips, a fish finger sandwich. It's not the cheapest of places, nor is it the most expensive. Would I go there again 100% would I recommend 100%.

Good service and food. Not overly keen on people taking dogs in. Not to busy and had the added bonus of there being a discount on Monday.

Beach cafĂ©s can be a bit of a dive â not this one! Really tasty good, generous portion sizes, friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and sea views. We especially enjoyed the scampi and the dirty fries.

I was on a one night walking break and feeling a little out of sorts. A lovely lady Hebe really looked after me and made me feel so welcome. I called in for a snack and coffee but booked a room. The amazing hospitality continued the next morning with delicious breakfast and Ellis really looked after me. Iâve only been away once on my own before and they really gave me confidence to do it again.

Just back from a fabulous 2 nights here. What a lovely place, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going. We were made very welcome and the staff were so friendly. The food was lovely and my husband said especially the breakfast. I'm sorry I didn't get one of the managers names who spoke to us this morning, just after breakfast, but she was so nice and a credit to The Smugglers. We will be back.

Weâve just returned from a wonderful two-night stay at The Smugglers Inn. On arrival, Lloyd greeted us and made us feel welcome instantly - before any money had even exchanged hands he made sure we were âfed and wateredâ after our long drive. Nothing was too much effort for any of the staffâŠ. Special mentions to Rafaela our waitress,Ella, and the bar-staff who really looked after us. The Sunday lunch was fantastic, great menu in general and a great breakfast spread! The room was spotless, cozy and well-equipped. It was my partners birthday and they went out of their way to make it special for him. We would definitely recommend staying here and we have already talked about returning one day. Thanks again to ALL the staff for making our stay so special. Sam and Phil

Good place to have breakfast and coffee. The place was a bit busy when I been there so I had to order couple of times to get all what I want but it was pretty straightforward. Recommend in a sunny day as is close to the beach

Can't fault it. Good breakfast and coffee to start with. Parking right next door no problem for big 4x4 Jeep to get into. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Dogs dotted around chilled with punters on their laptops or tablets working. Had a group of 6 as well sat in the middle of the cafe having a great time. Quick walk down the beach for a bit of sea air. Can't wait to go back but with the dog next time đ€©

OMG!!! I thought... just another front beach cafe ... You'd expect bad expresso, everage food at high cost.... WRONG! never had such a flavourful dish in places like this. The crunchy skin in the salmon was superb and the fish cooked just right. The mash and asparagus were dressed and seasoned properly not just on top. The expresso was full of flavour and body (Italian barista I bet!) The stuff very kind and courteous. The salmon dish in the picture was just 17ÂŁ Please don't miss this place!

Massive clean fresh room with nice shaped bath with shower.. I'll put a small video up of my room in a moment. It's easier! Parking to the rear. Had a goodnights sleep. Yesterday, I had a really nice pizza cooked in a stone oven Not sure what beer i was drinking. . Recommend stay. It's more expensive than premier inn and travel lodge, but it's worth the difference.

We came in for dinner as we were staying locally. The pub is a tradional pub and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and homemade. As a family of 4 we all had different meals and all enjoyed our food. Big portions and lots of flavour. We really enjoyed our time here.

Went in for an early supper. Very accommodating, lovely staff. Staff were happy to swap items on the menu. My son had the beef burger and enjoyed it. I had the buttermilk chicken burger - took a star off as it wasn't great, dry, thick, hard, inedible coating. I took it off and ate the chicken. Bit disappointing. But overall it's a nice place.

Stopped when leaving Haven to go Devon. Was so glad there was a space for the motor home thatâs 7.5m long (only room for one, in case you are travelling with one). Was the best breakfast Iâve had! So nice, shop was lovely to wonder around whilst breakfast was cooking. The staff were friendly and so accommodating. Food was so nice and deli items so enticing we couldnât leave without taking another few bits with us for our trip. The quiche was absolutely delicious. Thank you! I would recommend a stop here to anyone for eating đ

Camping at Freshwater holiday park, a 20 minute walk to visit this gem of a place. Busy and bustling restaurant, great menu, food was outstanding and the service was great too. Dog friendly aswell, all in all, will definitely be returning soon.

Came here today, after walking from our campsite at Graston Copse through Burton Bradstock village. A warm welcome by a member of staff & shown to our outside table for 4 with 3 dogs. Our waitress took our drinks order & returned after a few minutes to take our food order. She was very friendly and attentive, giving time for a chat despite being extremely busy. Wait for our food was minimal and when it arrived it was hot, tasty & well presented. Back ground music was pleasant, giving the Mediterranean feeling due to the sunshine. Wouldn't hesitate in returning if we are in the area again .... thank you.

We arrived at 11.20, just in time to order breakfast. We were lucky to get the table on the edge of the 'tent' overlooking the beach. Despite being quite busy we received very efficient service. The food arrived within 15- 20 min, then our hot drinks. We had 3 x full English and egg Benedict on muffin with bacon. Everyone enjoyed it. The only nuisance were a few wasps but not a lot to spoil our experience.

Huge muscles in a nicely balanced blue cheese cream sauce. The fish chowder was also lovely, great tasting fish and fresh veg. We enjoyed on a wet and windy day, outside seating had heaters which warmed us up nicely. Would recommend after a walk.

Excellent place to go for warm and freshly-made food and drinks. It's at a great location and when the park opens up, it will be the ideal spot for everyone. Definitely recommend going. I also work here and the staff and the customers are always so friendly and both parties are always so understanding no matter the circumstance.

Staff are okay, not overly friendly, but not not nice. Always quick service, reasonable prices, and nice hot cafe style drinks and cake/ pastries. It's not a fancy place, it's a casual place to chill. Good with a child/ baby. And good before/ after a walk round the great field. We got a hot drink each and a croissant.

Just had a two night stay here at this beautifully presented pub/b&b. Staff were friendly and helpful, always polite. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Itâs on the train line which doesnât feel intrusive. The food was really nice in the evenings (didnât eat lunch there), we were a big group one evening and there were two small issues but they were sorted. The first morning, arrived to breakfast and it wasnât ready and staff didnât know why, they quickly sorted it out tho. The only downside for us was breakfast, as there is no hot option.
Rating: 5 / 5
On arrival, after making a online booking, we were nearly turned away as staff said there was no reservations in our name, we had to prove it was booked from our online correspondence. Staff then found us a table, but advised us we had to go because that table was booked out at a certain time. We had our main meal, but didn't have a desert as we would have outstayed our welcome, only to find that upon leaving most of the restaurant was practicly empty, very disappointing. Apart from the above, the food and service was very good.
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely place, nice spacious rooms with air conditioning, decent telly and comfortable bed. Very clean and tidy, with a nice powerful shower. I really had to dig deep to find any fault with the place, and the only thing I did find wrong was that the toilet roll holder was was a bit loose. The continental breakfast had a good range of food, and was a nice way to start the day.

My bestie Jane and I visited Moreton church, a beautiful tranquil place. We decided to be ladies that lunch and stopped at the Frampton Arms where we had a lovely lunch. The pub has a charming atmosphere, where the staff are chatty, friendly and our food was delicious and at a reasonable price, well worth a visit.
