We had a pleasant meal here, on a lovely day outside. The soufflé was delicious, although we would've preferred homemade chips. Minor thing really. Would recommend stopping.

Ok, it's great tasting food for sure, but can get a bit noisy when busy due to the wooden decorated design inside. But it gets busy because it's good. Always best to book. Cater for parties.

This is the place to go for something different. The place is light and airy with plenty of space between the tables. The service is excellent. The menu gives you the opportunity to try something different. I really recommend this as a place to go and try.

Our party of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Elms. Atmosphere was good, food was excellent and the waitress service was excellent too. A very nice restaurant to wine and dine your party in.

Fantastic Saturday lunch in Dorset. Excellent food ( Goats cheese soufflé and beef with horseradish mash ) good red wine and a divine panacotta with hand made turkish delight... bookings a must, very recommended.

We were staying in down for my birthday. I looked on Google for somewhere for a Sunday roast. Reviews looked good. Have yo say best roast I have had out. Well done to all the team who were working extremely hard to give good service and good food. Lady taking our payment said they do similar midweek. Give it a try.

We were in the area and booked lunch with relatively short notice. Having never been before we were all very impressed and so glad we did. Great food, great service and a lovely country pub. If we lived closer, The White Horse would quickly become our regular. We even spoke about visiting the area again, simply to come back here!

The staff were very attentive , accommodating ( we have 2 toddlers) , and friendly we could not fault it . Im glad we booked as they called back to say we left a changing bag , where would we be without that!! We shared the platter for 2 and the food was insane! i could have had a whole bowl of the pork with that dirty mash it was sooo good. If youre staying anywhere within 15 miles of this place its def worth the trip if youre a foodie.

Ashley from A.G Electrics was great, really professional, understanding, and done a great job. He added a few plug sockets in a few rooms and an outside light. Great workmanship, work ethic, and came across as a really great guy. Thanks Ashley for a great job at a great price. I will certainly be using Ashley and his team for any future electrical work!!!

Dan is one of the electricians who works at JW Electrical Solutions. I had a few small jobs but they were important to me. Dan just got on with the work and checked that I was happy with each one as they were completed. I would definitely want JW Solutions to carry out any work that I might need in the future.

James and Dan wired up two barbs and my outside office and have done an amazing job. They fitted not only lights and sockets but also cat6 cables too. All works perfectly and can't thank them and recommend them enough.

Having completed a number of small and major projects for us I can 100% recommend Relay Electrics for any type of electrical work. Bill and Craig's team are second to none with an eye for detail that wouldn't be found elsewhere. All projects undertaken have been seamless from start to finish, they have great suggestions for work that could be done as well as taking on and establishing ideas that we have had. All in all a very pleasurable experience with no complaints!

Relay electrical services recently supplied the electrics to a barn conversion to a holiday cottage. They did a terrific job, always polite , turn up on schedule and do first class work in a professional manner. The internet supply was poor and they advised and fitted starlink to both cottages which has made an incredible difference and much appreciated by paying guests. I am in discussion with them concerning supplying the farm with PV and am impressed at their knowledge and appreciate their advice. I spent my entire working life in house building and renovation and have had several very good electricians working for me. Relay however stand head and shoulders above even the best. Can highly recommend them . Thanks Craig, Billy and all the team.

Relay Electrical Services recently carried out the electrical work during the total refurbishment of our home. The work included complete rewiring, supply and fit of all internal and external lighting, all electrical work for the air source heat pump and UFH, electrics for two bathrooms including ventilation and electric Velux, and all work relating to boosting the wifi signal and tv sockets etc. The costs matched the quotation and all the certified work was done to a high standard, often in tough conditions during a very wet winter. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Craig, Will and all the team. Many thanks.

An amazing maize, maze one of the best around. What a pity it's the final maze this year. A wonderful attraction for all the family with all the usual facilities including a superb little cafe. Play area for younger children and very reasonably priced. Staff extremely friendly and helpful adding to the experience. The maze is open all summer until early September so get in there quickly for a brilliant day out!

I love this little place that has a larger personality especially around the holidays, nice food, nice helpful staff, and full of friendlyness. It gets bigger and louder during the holidays and summer months when it opens the play area and the maize maze. Lovely for families and children. I have to say it pleases my heart to see this place set up for children's outside play, they certainly keep you on your toes, even when you are not part of that group or party, it has a little downside life everywhere when is busy hearing can be an issue even when sat face to face, so if you're expecting a wee cuppa or coffee or lunch in peace or relative quite here, you honestly won't know until you get there. It's just lovely hearing the children and youths being a play outside and not attached to their phones or computers.

Went with my sister ( a local ) and daughter and granddaughter. Food was really lovely. Highly reccomend the quiche. The play area is safe and really well laid out. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit. We live over an hour away but do make a beeline for Blackmarsh Farm when visiting. Staff are lovely too.

Absolutely gorgeous pub situated centrally in the lovely historic town of Sherborne in Dorset. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in The Hayloft for one night, like a lovely mini apartment overlooking the courtyard of the pub. Super comfy bed, great little bathroom and really lovely breakfast in the morning.

An incredible meal at the plume! We were turned away from another restaurant despite having a reservation, but when we came to the Plume they were happy to help and sat us promptly. The meal was absolutely delicious and filled us up nicely. We had 6 dishes between 4 adults and were stuffed! The service was great and the atmosphere was so lovely.

What a surprise treat! I visited this restaurant with family when staying in the area for a weekend away, and what a gorgeous find this was! Situated right in the heart of Sherborne (which is a charming town to visit regardless) this restaurant was just fabulous. The menu was fab, tapas dishes inspired by Italy but using West Country produce - what's not to love! Staff were friendly and accommodating, the drinks selection was vast and impressive and the food quality was truly 10/10. Would definitely be back if I lived closer! This place gets very busy over weekend so definitely book in advance, and also would recommend arriving for an earlier sitting rather than later before it gets too busy.

Lovely late lunch. Quality food and friendly, accommodating staff. The outside looks fairly drab and some of the Italian signage is slightly incongruous (are Wadsworths synonymous with Italian dining? No), but don't be put off, the inside is far, far better with modern styling in a traditional setting. Not cheap but where is these days.

This was our first time at Castello's and we were not disappointed! Absolutely delicious food and great service. Plenty of dishes on the menu to choose from and not too expensive either. If you are looking for great food and atmosphere, with great service, go to Castello's. This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Yeovil!

This place is by far the best Italian in Yeovil. A friendly welcome when we arrived and when led to our table you could see how clean the restaurant was, lovely decor. A wide selection of dishes on the menu and Peroni on tap. Food was fantastic and well presented, we all had starters and mains and were pleasantly full. The facilities were very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Defenatily will be returning.

We had such a lovely time. The staff are really friendly and pay attention to detail. They figured out it was my daughter’s birthday and wrote happy birthday in chocolate sauce on her dessert. Yes it’s a bit more expensive than the average, but if you’re looking for something a bit special with fantastic food then I would recommend 👍

Good menu choices. Clear what is suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Competitive pricing. Clean and organised. Attentive staff. Pizza, calzone and risotto good, and mozzarella garlic bread. Tried cocktails, very good and Rose wine. Family friendly. Accessible street entrance. Good space inside. Local parking but no car park with restaurant but it is fairly central.

Traveling around the country with relatives from Australia and found this great British country pub. Good beer selection, great food and excellent service from the wonderful staff. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Definitely a place worthy of a second visit.

Stopped for lunch after doing a search for pub type eateries near out of town Yeovil and come up with the Masons Arms. Greeted very politely as we had arrived before 12:00, served with two beautiful tasting coffees before ordering lunch, two small meals, ham egg and fries plus home made fish cakes and salad dressing followed by apple and raisin crumble that was beautiful. Both my wife and I left the Masons Arms well fed and full. If we are in Yeovil or near in the future we will definitely visit again.

I stayed at their small campsite behind the pub in my motorhome. A very peaceful location with good amenities. The food was great too, moderately priced. The staff were a helpful and friendly bunch. If you have a long motorhome (mines 7 metres) Give them a call and they'll help you through the entrance, it's tight. Especially if you're solo like myself. I brought my dog who was most welcomed.

Stayed for a couple of nights on way back from picking up our vintage vw camper. Really relaxed experience and surrounded by beautiful countryside and historic villages. We ate some lovely food in the pub and drank local beers and ciders (Rosie’s Pig cider). I believe they also have a microbrewery as well. Will definitely recommend and will return to this historic pub near Yeovil.

Super little quiet campsite behind a lovely country pub. Staff were great, welcome was warm, facilities were good. And we had a very nice meal in the pub on our second night. Recommended!

Visited for an early anniversary meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. At first thought meals were expensive but once they came out they were actually reasonable as they are big. Steak was cooked well but the ones I had were a bit fatty but other than that the meal was delicious. The other dish was huge and delicious. Would recommend giving this place a try and we will definitely be returning to try a different dish.
