Wonderful first appointment! Ian was very gentle and really took time to explain everything. I hadn't been to a dentist for 4 or so years due to a couple of bad experiences and Trigeminal Neuralgia and went on recommendation of a friend. I will definitely return!

I was recently introduced to Sturminster Dental Practice by a very good friend on mine John Durham, having been unhappy with the care I was receiving elsewhere. I have now had 3 visits to this practice and the care and attention has been excellent, it is not something I look forward too visiting a dentist but getting the service I have received has taken away any concerns

On my first visit to Alaska house I was seen by Llewellyn Camilla. She made me feel very welcomed and put me at ease straight away. Nicole the Hygienist was really lovely and spoke through every process she was going to be doing. I'm quite a nervous patient so this was nice to have. She also offered me lots of advice on how to keep my gums healthy. She was very lovely and welcoming! My overall experience so far at Alaska house has been very good, everyone at the practice is so welcoming.

Seen hygienist today. Did not see anyone for hygiene since lock down and my teeth were stained and full of plaque. She was fantastic and l came out looking as if l have had my teeth whitened. She was throughout thoughtful about the discomfort and also did a filling which l did not even feel. So glad l am registered with these 🙏

Eversince I was a child I was afraid of the dentist. My dentist of many years had to retire due to ill health. I signed up with littlemoor dental surgery and I must say that my fear of dentist has disappeared thanks to Pawel not only is he a wonderful dentist but a very nice person who explains everything to you and has hands like feathers. I broke a molar and was in a lot of pain. I couldn’t find a dentist anywhere so I tried these guys… I left a message and they got back to me within an hour. The lovely receptionist booked an appointment for me later that afternoon. The dentist then phoned me too to get more detail about my tooth problem which was a nice touch.I saw Shannon and her nurse who were incredible. All three ladies were very professional and extremely caring. I live over an hour away from Dorset dental clinic however would have no hesitation in going back there and am seriously considering using them all the time… They really were excellent. Thank you DDC… I have also just received an e mail from them with all the detail of my treatment including the picture of the x-ray they took so I can pass it on to my dentist to help him know all the information. Incredible service… Thank you again Shannon and the team.

Had my first consultation and was made to feel very much at ease. Lovely friendly staff and the information given was in depth and very clear. Absolutely no pressure at all to sign up for treatments and no upselling which was refreshing. I have already decided based on my consultation and all of the information given to me, to go ahead with treatment. So I'll review again after my next appointment. Actually looking forward to visiting the dentist! That's a first!!

Excellent dentists and assistants. In this day and age I am not supposed to say this but they are "all good looking". I suppose after saying that, I will be taken away to a place of execution and shot. We are all able to get dentistry on the N H S providing the practice is registered with the N H S. It's not the dentist that is registered but the practice.

I unfortunately had a filling come away from a front tooth, I felt awful and embarrassed.....I did not anyone to see it. I managed to get an appointment quickly with a lady dentist....she gave me advice on what she could do for me, after discussing my options I went for veneers on my two front teeth....she worked on my teeth for a mould to be taken. I then had to go back for another mould to be taken.....my third appointment was to have the veneers fitted. The whole experience was amazing from the receptionist, dentists and assistance, I could not thank them enough.....thank you once again x

Mark the hygienist is excellent. I had a mouth problem causing me a lot of pain. The pain seemed to relate to the gums rather than the teeth. I visited the dentist who poked and prodded all the teeth and checked the bite and checked for pain with a cold material. None of the teeth caused pain, it was general pain which I believed related to gums. As I was in constant pain which was keeping me awake the dentist prescribed anti biotic. The mouth improved some but was still uncomfortable. One week later I visited Mark. Within seconds he identified the problem. There was an area of gum which had trapped food. He cleaned out the debris and it immediately felt more comfortable and has remained so. He showed me how to clean that area which was not helped by normal brushing. Thank you Mark I will miss you.

I broke my tooth and the sharp edges were rubbing on my tongue. I was worried that I would not be able to get an appointment at short notice but was able to book for the next day. The dentist was able to sort out a new filling and file the rough edges so I no longer have any discomfort and will be able to enjoy Christmas. I am very grateful for such good service especially as my friends tell me they don’t get this level of care as private patients with their dentist

I have just visited Princes Street for a wisdom tooth extraction. I have had this wisdom tooth for 40 years and, until recently, I had never had any problem with it. The whole process of extraction was not what I was expecting. The dentist was gentle with the local anaesthetic and the extraction. Thank you very much to all concerned.

I was in a hurry, arrived early, and asked reception if things were running to schedule. Tom, the hygienist, was there at the time. He very kindly escorted me from the waiting area straight in for my clean. He put me at ease, gave sound advice and was very polite. I was all too happy to have been seen earlier too!
