I arranged with Mike a convenient date to clean the carpets in 2 bedrooms, a study, stairs & landing and lounge/diner. Mike arrived in good time on the day with professional cleaning equipment. Some of our carpets had inherited legacy stains from previous owners and Mike managed to remove these without issue. When the bulk of the cleaning was completed Mike went round spot-cleaning any persistent marks. Throughout the day Mike was happy to answer any questions I had. I will be calling on Mike again when the carpets next need some TLC.
Mike is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. Not only did he do a great job of cleaning all our carpets for a very good price and leave them virtually dry, but he also cleaned a mattress for a small extra fee. We had struggled to find any company which cleaned mattresses, after one of our cats had a very copious 'accident' on our brand new mattress. Mike warned us that the mattress might need more than one clean as the liquid would have penatrated a long way inside but said he would come back to give it further treatments at no extra cost. The first attempt left it still smelling of 'cats' but Mike came back to perform a sanitisation (warning us that the residual smell of the sanitiser would be strong). He was right! It took about 6 weeks for the scent to dissipate enough to be able to use the mattress but it worked and we are now able to use our lovely new mattress again. Mike saved us a lot of money by not having to replace it. I would thouroughly recommend Mike Smallwood for carpet and mattress cleaning.
I am so impressed with the job Mike did on my carpets and lounge suite - they were in such a mess but Mike managed to bring them back to life where they actually look new. I didn't think that would have been possible! Mike was punctual, professional, meticulous and very reasonably priced.
I can always count on Mike. Whether for end of tenancy carpet and sofa cleans, or for help in emergencies, he’s the best. Mike has a very nice manner and is reliable, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. He most recently helped me with professional advice following tenant damage to sofa cushions. I was very appreciative of his technical assistance and his dedication to finding a solution. I would recommend Mike to landlords and homeowners alike!
