Absolutely fantastic customer service from start to finish. I cannot recommend Top Gear enough. Especially to other females who fret about taking their car into garages and worry they might be ripped off. Chris was transparent from the start about the costs and his communication throughout was brilliant. I was always kept up to date and made to feel reassured. He shows you videos of what they do with your car- just total open, transparency throughout!

I have to say, as skeptical of the previous reviews as I was, Chris lives up to the hype. Fairly priced, no BS at all, easy to work with, goes the extra mile, doesn’t do more than is needed but leaves nothing undone. I can’t recommend Top Gear enough to anyone who believes mechanics rip you off. He’s the real deal and knows his stuff inside and out. Amazing customer service too; the full package. I’ve found my mechanic for life.

Our car has been having problems for a few months and this finally escalated last weekend. We found out through a mobile mechanic that we had severe break problems (which we knew because we could hear metal on metal). It’s one of those car problems you know are going to big, so you want to call around and find the best team for the job. Top Gear was exactly that team. They caught our eyes from their amazing reviews, and they absolutely lived up to them. From giving us quotes for three different kinds of parts to accommodate any financial budgets, to being extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived, to being communicative throughout the repair process, Top Gear really cares about the cars and the people in them.

This company are absolutely brilliant and can’t recommend them enough, I had an issue with my DPF on my Range Rover, Chris talked me through my options and was in constant communication throughout the process, very well priced and my car has now got a clean bill of health, he does a thorough check and test run at least 3 times to ensure when you get your car back he knows it is up to his high standards and faultless, very impressed with the service. Fabulous, very professional, informative, Knowledgeable etc etc . And reasonably priced. A credit to the industry..
