We had a fantastic experience at Harvey’s Café! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, going the extra mile to make our visit special—especially for our daughter. It was the perfect pit stop before heading to Peppa Pig World. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and our food arrived quickly. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of colouring pencils and books to keep our little one entertained. A big thank you to the wonderful team for the excellent service, and a special shout-out to Avah for making our visit even more memorable. Highly recommend—thank you for a great experience.

On the road with the kids (16) who played footy locally, a quick google search and Harvey’s appeared to be just 5 minutes away. I am so glad we made the effort, avoiding the “high st. “ chains and enjoyed a truly wonderful experience. The staff were attentive and genuinely happy, it was no bother changing pork products on a breakfast for vegetarian. We had a mix of standard breakfasts and baps and none disappointed. This is the type of cafe that is hard to find and needs support as the UK is a lesser place without them. Absolutely 1at class! 👏

We had a lovely breakfast here! I messaged them via Facebook a week before visiting to check they have gluten free options and they were very responsive. The gluten free menu is good and you can just choose the items you want and they price it accordingly. Coffee was good and service was excellent. Can't wait to go back!

Visited this morning for a team meeting over breakfast and it was delicious! Not greasy at all and really nicely cooked! I had the mushrooms with bacon on toast and my colleagues got the full english and all 3 plates were cleared! Good strong coffee and the staff were lovely! Thank you!

Had a problem with my shower, M-Tech arrived within 24 hours and at the time specified. Marlon advised that it needed a new switch and the old one was quickly replaced. The work was carried out efficiently, cleanly and exactly what was needed. The work was checked and a certificate issued and a warranty given. Excellent service and I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. Thank you Marlon it was a pleasure to have you do the work for me.

Absolutely brilliant installation. Marlon was friendly, professional and helpful throughout. Provided a new fuse box, external sockets and EV changer. I recently hired Simon Gibson for some electrical work at my home, and I couldn't be more impressed with his service. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient with installing our new outdoor sockets. What truly stood out, however, was how meticulous he was about tidying up after completing the job. Simon came out at short notice due to a dangerous electrical fault with the bathroom light. He fixed the fault with the light and replaced the light fitting, fan and ceiling switch. He was friendly, efficient at such a reasonable price leaving us feeling safe. Excellent service! Highly recommended.

Angel's Plumbing Ltd replaced our leaking bath taps, hoses and valves. His work was quick, efficient and professional. He kept me informed every step of the way, so I could see exactly what he was doing. He also took great care to ensure no leaks remained. He even helped me finish off some plumbing work that I was doing at the same time. The communications from his partner before and after were excellent! She was the first to respond to my Check-a-Trade job request. The labour estimate was accurate and the quote was the lowest of all four responding companies. I would not hesitate to use Angel again and would highly recommend him to others.

Angel is fantastic and I highly recommend him. He will see you as soon as he is able, and is very positive in finding out what the problem is and how best to fix it. I have used him twice for emergencies and both times he has been prompt and helpful. Both times he had the issues fixed same day and the problem has not recurred. He is friendly and will explain exactly what the situation is and what he is doing. Very fair pricing too. He's my go-to guy now.

This is the best coffee shop in the area by a mile. They really know their stuff and roast their own coffee on site. Can't get much fresher than that. The team are happy to chat about coffee and it's origins (when not too busy obviously) and also sell their own products. Slightly hidden away at Botley mill but so worth looking for. If you are anywhere in the area I highly recommend a visit.

Small coffee shop but very friendly/experienced staff. Photo of a hot chocolate but we also had a coffee which was excellent. Enjoyed it so much we bought some coffee to take home and enjoy. We didn’t have any brownies etc (as we were going out for lunch) but they looked delicious. Will definitely return when that way again.

Easily my favourite place for bespoke, freshly made coffee with some fine vinyl in the background. The old pump house in the mill sets the scene for good conversation and an outer space to sit by the river and chill.

I was looking for an electrician to install a HIVE EV charger I had already purchased. Shem was the first person to contact me, ask me a number of questions and supply a quote. After few days of waiting for others to contact me I went with the quote he provided. It was the best decision I could have made! Communication was the best I've experienced from any trades person. I was given text updates as to when Shem would be arriving, he was polite and courteous and not only explained what he needed to do, but also asked for my opinion and any suggestions I had. The work he carried out was to an extremely high standard and in less than 3 hours the charger was ready for me to use. All the relevant paperwork was completed and authorities informed, and I have now received all the certificates required should I need to evidence the work that was carried out. I cannot recommend Shem enough!

Excellent pre-installation advice to choose the right charger. Competitive and inclusive quote with no surprise additions. Installation arranged within a week of accepting the quote. We had Shem from Solid Electrics over to move some lights for us, and he did a fantastic job! He was friendly, punctual, and really knew his stuff.
