Fantastic job by Garry, Mark and team on our garden. Good price, punctual & came when they said they would. They were open to any changes we made and gave us advice on improving some of our ideas. Highly recommend this company, we have used them before for some work on our kitchen, which was carried out to an excellent standard and they have recently renovated our bathroom for us which just looks fabulous! I am so delighted with my new back garden. I have waited years to be able to have this outdoor space off my kitchen. We got the planning through just as Covid hit , so we couldn’t do anything then and have had to wait until costs came down a bit on materials. I am absolutely thrilled with the work that Gabba and team did , they worked with me to make sure it was right and l was happy with the end result. This is going to give me years of joy whatever the weather l will be making the most of it.

Absolutely superb service and workmanship. I needed a picket fence, quickly - they fitted it in to a busy schedule no problem. Lovely guys to have working in the back, happy, polite, informed me of their progress etc. So obliging to do a couple of other little jobs got me whilst they were here too. Nothing was too much trouble. The materials they recommended are really good quality and the fence was put up with some good common sense. I’m so pleased with it, and so happy knowing these guys are local and so helpful.

They say a picture paints a thousand words... these photos say it all! As you can see, we were in desperate need of a Fence and my before & after photos show the amazing transformation. Brilliant work by Odd Job Heroes!!! David arrived when he said he would and spent time considering the jobs, before providing an honest assessment of the work and costs involved. The end result being large gas BBQ built, garden fence prepared and then painted (two coats) and log shed roofs made fully waterproof. The invoice arrived promptly and was exactly what we had agreed. Next on the list will be the re-roofing of a large garden shed. Definitely using Odd Job Heroes again !

Mark arrived within just 5 minutes of the approx. time he said he would arrive. He very quickly realised what the fault was and got straight on with it. He was very thorough. Of course, we won't know for a day or so if his work has resolved the issue, but from his clear explanation of the work he carried we believe all will be well. Mark was very friendly and keen to explain all that he was doing.

We had a number of small plumbing jobs after the New Year and contacted John. It was the first time we had used his services and found him very helpful, with a professional, no-nonsense approach to the jobs. Johan recently completed some work for us to locate the source of a water leak in our downstairs WC and repairing water damage to our internal walls and timber work. We are very pleased with the job that Johan has done for us and he was really good at explaining things to us as he was doing the work. We would highly recommend Johan for anyone looking to use his services.

Johan was very prompt in responding to my request and skilled in many areas. I requested him to decorate my downstairs loo. He made me a bespoke boxing in of pipework which was removable incase of any future plumbing problems, with tiling and decor. I was pleased with all his work and although I thought his day rate was high once I considered the skill and time involved I realised this was a fair price for the work undertaken. He did also give me a time frame in which it would be completed minimum to maximum which is unusual for workmen. This took him 2 days and am pleased with the result.

I contacted Johan regarding boxing in my old fireplace and making a bespoke stud wall to cover under the stairs and create a media section. He was extremely professional, kept me upto date on times and days and discussed design ideas taking onboard my needs. The finished products exceeded all my expectations, the craftsmanship was simply superb and the cost was extremely reasonable, given the attention to detail, and skills involved. If you want a professional job then I would highly recommend Johan. I'm definitely retaining his number for future works.

Steve did an excellent job completing a range of repairs in the kitchen and bathroom. He also fitted two doors, built a gate and repaired brickwork in the garden. He took real pride in his work and suggested what should be long lasting solutions. It is fantastic to have long list of jobs complete! We have used Krystian several times now to install 2 bathroom cabinets, to fix our toilet and to complete some pannelling/redecorating in the downstairs of our house. Krystian is responsive, friendly and does an excellent job for great value. Absolutely not a corner-cutter, he spent a lot of time with us explaining our options and the pros and cons of these options. He fitted shelves, a tv, a curtain rail, a fireplace beam and changed a kitchen tap. He even cancelled a job which we ended up not needing because of a change in our room design - most people would have done it anyway and took the money. Lovely guy, can't recommend enough.

We're really pleased with the work Phil carried out for us. We wanted a fence installed in our garden to create extra privacy without losing the character of our stone wall. Phil managed to achieve this for us with great attention to detail and at a reasonable price.

Phil came out to quote for replacing a fence post which was initially not fitted deep enough (not by Phil!) and had become weakened from windy weather. Phil came to quote when he said that he would and was friendly and professional. He was not deterred from it being a small job and quoted a good and fair price.
