Dean has done a couple of jobs in our flat – re-flooring and installing an extraction duct in the kitchen. He's done a brilliant job both times, he's a great problem solver and takes real pride in his work. Reasonably priced, too. Would definitely recommend!

I've used Crown twice in the last month ( internal and external painting and some minor interior repairs ). Dean is a very hard worker who gets things done the way you want them and provides great value for money. My go to guy for all my home repairs.

Dean has carried out work on my 2 buy to let properties recently. His work has been of a high standard. He posted to me videos to update the work as I’m managing the properties off the mainland. Dean collected the keys of the properties, one empty and one with tenants In residence ,from the real estate management. I consider Dean to be a trustworthy affable person and look forward to having him modernising the properties over the coming years 👌

BBOJ has done a fantastic job painting all walls, ceiling and woodwork in my flat and making good damaged plaster and woodwork. All involved have been efficient and careful and the outcome is outstanding. They have responded quickly to all requests and helped with several other small jobs that were needed. From the estimate through to the booking and then the work itself, everything went smoothly. The job was to complete the installation of a back door because the company doing it originally had gone into administration. The work was carried out with a real empathy to what I required even though some of it was correcting things that had gone wrong with the original contractor. What I ended up with is something much better than the original planned installation. Will use again.

We recently had Silver Saints do our gas boiler service Raymond did the gas boiler service. Raymond was very good: on time, neat, clear in communication of how things were going. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his ability to just fix our bathroom tap (to make hot water run out of it) in a matter of seconds! I will defiantly use Silver Saints again in the future.

Geno was nice and friendly, really helpful with the maintenance - repainting the walls & repairing the unstable bricks and lights & repairing window frame. As he knew I’ll be moving into the flat next week, he rescheduled his other job and finished all of the maintenance in 2 days and also helped me checking is there any other issue in the whole flat. USH visited my flat earlier this month (January 2025) to repair two door frames and rehang the doors. Their work was excellent and the team were courteous. They fully cleaned up after the job and the cost of the work was very reasonable. I will certainly use them again in the future.

I have used the USH a number of times. This time they came out to quote to fix an external drainage pipework issue. The pricing was reasonable and once instructed they came out as agreed and fixed the piping. Good communications and friendly staff.

I was left in the lurch by another painting company who had tried to rip me off badly. The Handy Squad immediately responded within hours to my desperate query and promised to send me Victor the very next morning. Victor really should be wearing a cape as he is a true super hero. In just five short days he painted a 4 storey stairwell, replaced a light fitting, a couple other little jobs, and also managed to mix up a new paint colour ON THE SPOT (from old paint cans) to repair skirting boards which had been badly damaged by the last painters. He was early every morning, always courteous and really thinks outside the box to fix all the issues that I had with the house at the end of my lease. I would definitely recommend him to any female customers tired of disrespectful and bullying tactics from other tradesmen. I can't thank The Handy Squad and Victor enough for saving me from a very stressful and expensive situation. Highly recommend.

Excellent service! I arranged for Victor from the Handy Squad to come and fix a plumbing issue that was preventing our dishwasher installation. Victor was polite, diligent and delivered exactly what we asked for. Even when there were challenges that could have scuppered the plan, Victor persevered and came through for us. Gregori and Michael are a great team and very pleasant personalities. They arrived early to access the job. My request to replace a kitchen fridge in a larger space and adjust a neighbouring cupboard was greeted with a reassuring ‘can do’ attitude. Deep joy! They had a professional response to fixing problems without any drama or push back. They focused on details and nothing was too much trouble. An added bonus was their sense of fun while doing the work. I don't speak Polish but there was much laughter and a sense of enjoyment in their work. Communication was excellent. It was the best experience that I could have expected.. Well done guys. I will use you again.
