I called in desperation to get my new curtains up for Christmas. I tried and failed! I explained my need and was given an appointment for today. Amandeep came out and in no time at all my curtains are up. He even hoovered up some dust from the drilling! I am impressed and definitely recommend him and will use again. Price was realistic. Happy to have found him. Now looking at other things I need doing!!

Karzan is an excellent Handyman. He is very professional and hard working and does an excellent job. He arrived promptly and made a beautiful job of water treating and painting my outside terrace - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Karzan did an amazing job when replacing my carpet with floor tiles. He had all the tools needed for the job. I was a little bit worried that i had to spent so much time on cleaning after the job but all i had to do is a quick mopping as he kept everywhere clean. Everything was smooth and fast. Very impressed with his work. I will definitely book him for the future jobs and would recommend him to everyone who wants a perfect job!

Karzan did a wonderful job fitting our new bath panel, which was no easy task after the way the previous one had been fitted. He came equipped with everything needed for the job and then some. The issue, a leaking bathroom tap, was diagnosed over the phone, the plumber arrived very quickly with a new tap ready to go. Was in and out before I knew it, left everything spic and span. I approached Handy Humans 18 months ago to look at the work required at my parents flat. There was mould issues in two bedrooms from a previous flood on the flat above. The work involved hacking off plaster, damp treatment, replastering and skimming one wall. The wallpaper was removed & all walls & ceilings were painted including all the woodwork. It’s a true sign of a professional job when they remove the radiator to carry out the painting. They were very understanding and patient with us in getting the work agreed with the council & insurance company. The work was carried out over two visits to allow us to install new flooring and relocate furniture between rooms. Again Handy Humans were very accommodating with this request. The work was carried out by a team of professionals who I highly recommend. Geno was nice and friendly, really helpful with the maintenance - repainting the walls & repairing the unstable bricks and lights & repairing window frame. As he knew I’ll be moving into the flat next week, he rescheduled his other job and finished all of the maintenance in 2 days and also helped me checking is there any other issue in the whole flat. USH visited my flat earlier this month (January 2025) to repair two door frames and rehang the doors. Their work was excellent and the team were courteous. They fully cleaned up after the job and the cost of the work was very reasonable. I will certainly use them again in the future.

I was very pleased with the service from booking, communication and the work carried out. Hamid was professional, friendly and helpful. He did a fantastic job repairing a hole in a wall and making good. Sameed, the electrician, also did a good job fixing some of my ceiling lights. I would recommend Upper Street Contractors. They do care about providing a good service and their pricing is reasonable.

I was left in the lurch by another painting company who had tried to rip me off badly. The Handy Squad immediately responded within hours to my desperate query and promised to send me Victor the very next morning. Victor really should be wearing a cape as he is a true super hero. In just five short days he painted a 4 storey stairwell, replaced a light fitting, a couple other little jobs, and also managed to mix up a new paint colour ON THE SPOT (from old paint cans) to repair skirting boards which had been badly damaged by the last painters. He was early every morning, always courteous and really thinks outside the box to fix all the issues that I had with the house at the end of my lease. I would definitely recommend him to any female customers tired of disrespectful and bullying tactics from other tradesmen.
