The allotments is such a fantastic place, where you can work hard cultivating your veg or flowers or sit back and have a chat with a 'brew'.

I have an Allotment here, so visit regularly. The committee are just finishing off an earth toilet. We have newly installed water containers, so water is on tap when needed. The committee are very active and hold various community activities throughout the year. There is an annual show which is popular and very well attended

We got our plot about three years ago. As novice gardeners it's taken us a while to get organised and get the plot as we want it. Each plot provides plenty of space and we've got flowers, veg and fruit growing on ours.
We've been made to feel very welcome and everyone's been happy to provide us with help and advice as we've needed it.
It's a very peaceful place to just get away and enjoy the great outdoors.
