Gav has done so much work on our house over the years - from bespoke carpentry (like benches and wardrobes) and plastering, to laying a patio and fitting a bathroom - and not only is he very skilled, but he's also a super nice guy and very fairly priced. He'll tell you what he's going to do, he arrives on time and then does the work. You literally couldn't ask for anything else.

Probably the most efficient and polite tradesperson I have met. Very punctual, honest and hard working with fair treatment, understanding and pricing. I had a number of jobs building up and was having trouble finding someone who was prepared to tackle everything I needed. Ben was recommended by a number of friends and I wasn't disappointed. Jobs included replacement of an integrated fridge and freezer, loft access with ladder, bathroom extractor fan replacement and external gutters cleaned including disassembly of downpipes where necessary to remove years of crud build up. Clear pricing, reliable and kept me informed of progress throughout. I would highly recommend Pinfold and I'm sure this isn't the last time I'll call on Ben for ongoing work.

Ben is a top guy who is multi-skilled and has great attention to detail. Easy to chat to and felt at ease that he did things thoroughly in our new build annexe (blinds, doors, windowsills, trim etc). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use again. See you soon!

Ben was an absolute star from start to finish. Punctual and honest from the beginning. My job presented more issues than when he first started. Didn't phase him, just went to get more materials and carried on. He didn't make any money on the materials and used his trade discount as well. Lee has just completed a package of work for me on a rental property including Painting throughout, new bath panel, resealing the bath/shower, new sink waste, boxing in some pipework and replacing the banister. Lee turned up when he said he would and kept me updated with regular progress updates. Using Lee has saved me a lot of time and hassle by not having to get multiple trades in - I gave him the list, he gave me a price, and he got on with it. I recently had Lee come over to fit our huge TV to the wall on Christmas Eve. He was not only punctual but also a really nice guy who took the time to ensure everything was set up perfectly. 2 absolute professionals from pricing the job, explaining what they would be doing, how long the work would take and the work they carried out. We were recommended to this company by friends and their workmanship was second to none. 2 rooms redecorated, 3 walls painted, 1 wall papered, woodwork and doors glossed in each room. Then tiled a splashback. Prepped everything first, then undercoated before applying 2 coats to finish. Cleaned up everyday and also when finished. All at a reasonable price. My wife and I would highly recommend them and will be looking to use them again when we decorate our bedrooms.

I would highly recommend Benvale Home Maintenance - Ben was happy to tackle a variety of issues in our house including fitting a dishwasher, a complicated problem with fitting a cooker hood, putting up blinds and basically anything else we asked him to help with. No job is too much for him he just gets on with sorting everything and I wouldn't hesitate to book him again.
