I called PJ Builders off chance due to a crazy quote from another building company.

PJ Builders were installing a Lift Conversion around the corner from my house and I just called the number on the side of the van.

Within 24 hrs they had arranged Building Control and a team of builders to do the required work and the work started less than a week later.

Cannot recommend Paul and his team enough, very professional. They've placed PFC metal profiles under our sagging kitchen floor. They gave us an expected time scale of when the work would be completed and this was met. very reasonably priced, Would definitely use PJ Building Services again in the future.

Really happy with the work that PJ Builders did on our loft conversion. Hard working and diligent, they got through all the work with the minimum of fuss and I was kept up-to-date throughout. Would recommend and would use again.

We have recently had a loft to gable extension on our 1930’s semi and family bathroom refurbishment. We have gone from a 3 bed with separate bathroom and toilet to 5 bed and 2 bath. It was our first major reno project so we were understandably nervous about choosing the right builder - especially given all the horror stories you hear out there. However, I felt compelled to write this review as we had a really wonderful experience with PJ Builders from start to finish and would happily/confidently recommend them to friends and family. We’ve already booked in for further work to be completed over the coming months.

Paul and his team are hardworking, honest and reliable. Each of them showed care in our home - even tidying up at the end of each day. We were kept fully informed of what the plan for the day was at the start and end of the day so we knew who was coming and when. They were punctual and professional. Furthermore, they’re all a lovely bunch of people to speak to over a brew.

Paul was always on hand via phone and site visits to make sure everything was running smoothly. Any hiccups, snags or issues were raised and rectified every time. Paul was also very patient with us when we kept adding on extras we wanted (e.g. all new internal doors, taking down a porch etc).

We’re absolutely delighted with our new loft extension and very pleased that it all came in on budget too! The quality of the finish is wonderful as they have pride in their work. For example; Paul wasn’t happy with the finish on the guttering due to the height of the scaffolding (an issue I doubt I’d have noticed) so he had the chaps redo it until the finish was up to his standard. Overall, it’s been a great experience from beginning to end.

For reference, we hired PJ Builders from start to completion and were happy with every stage. Including drawing up the plans.
