I was dubious at first that the diamond microdermabrasion which Charmaine recommended would actually work, because there are no 'miracle' cures - Right? Wrong! Knowing Charmaine personally and knowing that she doesn't lie I thought I'd give it a go, after all, what have I got to loose? Charmaine IS a 'miracle' worker, she has made me look 10 years younger and if you don't believe me ask her to show you my 'before' and 'after' photos. I would definitely recommend Charmaine and her treatments to everyone. Thank you, Charmaine xxx

Charmaine was recommended to me by a friend. I had never had a manicure before and my nails were getting quite brittle and splitting. I can honestly say they have never been in better shape. It’s a real treat to have a one to one in a quiet setting, you don’t feel rushed and I have complete confidence in Charmaine’s skills and advice. The banter’s pretty good too!

I was in horncastle for a wedding, im from newcastle upon Tyne. I decided to have my hairdone. I was quite nervous after a bad experience a few years ago, rebecca was brilliant, she made me feel at ease as soon as i walked in. We had a chat about what i wanted. Absolutely incredible hairstylist. Been in twice now for a full wash, cut and colour and have not been let down. Let Rebecca have free reign and she did a fantastic job both times. The shop is also beautiful, very welcoming and charming and is a very pleasant place to be.

I have frequent visits to boutique hair & beauty, Carly has looked after me for years! She does my hair exactly how I want it and has even dared me to try different styles and colours - which is great as I have very little confidence in myself. Also have my waxing done with Carly - eyebrows and top lip. Again always done to a very professional standard. The girls in the salon are very welcoming and love a chat and a giggle. If you felt a bit down before you went you can guarantee coming out with a smile - great therapy!! Everyone needs are very different and I’ve noticed the girls very much cater to that … if you want quiet time you get that, if you want a chat and a giggle you get that too ☺️. Keep up the good work Carly and crew you all work extra hard and go that extra mile if needed - love what you do I’d be lost without you ❤️

New to the area, I chose The Grapevine for a couple of beauty treatments on the strength of the Google reviews. And how right they were. The salon is a Tardis, opening up into a spacious hair and beauty salon. The initial phone conversation, welcome on the day and luxurious surroundings could not be faulted. However, the absolute star was my beautician Courtney: friendly but courteous, professional and skilful, just a real gem. I really did nearly fall asleep! I do hope to return, and recommend Courtney and The Grapevine very highly. Thank you to everyone concerned.

Both my daughter (8) and I have visited the salon for a haircut. My daughter absolutely loved the experience and felt very grown up. She walked out with a huge smile on her face and loved her cut and style. When I visited I requested the blacked out mirror. Sam made me feel completely at ease. Popped in on the off chance to see if I could get a hair cut. Very pleased it was possible to get a cut and blow. I have naturally curly hair that I keep short, as it doesn't suit me long, and I am always astounded by how many "sylists" can't cut it in a decent style and I end up going home and hacking at it myself and moaning about the £40 I just spent. Thankfully Angela, who cut my hair, is a star! Really lovely lady to chat to and cut my hair beautifully! I know I am really fussy, but I cannot find any fault at all and the cost was also to my liking! Just goes to show that you don't need to go to a "big name" to get a great hair cut.
