My husband and I were going to go to Starbucks but are keen to support local businesses so we decided on here instead. Absolutely delicious hot chocolate, beautiful cakes and pastries, speedy and friendly service, all with a smile. We'll be visiting again for sure. Thank you.

Absolutely the best fish 'n' chips in Medway. Run by the same friendly family who own the shop in Hoo. The batter is perfect each time. Only ever had excellent food both shops and have been using them for years. Would recommend to anyone particularly those who miss traditional fish 'n' chips cooked to perfection. Busy at key times and deservedly so šā¤ļø

Great food, probably best fish and chips I have ever had. I'm not normally a fan of fish and chips, I prefer my meat choices more but whenever I or the family want fish and chips- this place is my go to. Great and efficienct service from the owners, who are lovely people.

Lovely food and staff, thay done really well due to the fact there was 30 people eating at once. Some music in the background would be nice and some soft lighting, staff could off come over more but thay was really nice and personal. recommend visiting. :)

Really beautiful inside and out, lovely cleans and bright inside. Outside has the most beautiful view of the river and so hidden away that I have only just came across this lovely place through a friend. enjoyed a glass of red. The staff are very friendly and guided me through the menu. I would like to see more for plant based/ vegans such as the mushrooms could very easily have the cheese sauce separate, so that it could be an option for vegans or non vegans. I had chips, veggie Indian style barji like things that were nice, olives and bread. My friend got the Sunday carvery and really enjoyed the options. The vegan pies where finished or I would of got the same. I'm still unsure about parking as I did see a few restrictions due to being near the station so would have to call up about that. There are a few designated spaces. Overall would definitely come back with a group of friends š

I hosted my partners 30th here and it was such a great venue! The food was great and they catered for gluten free. Their in house DJ was really good and everyone has such a good time! They even went out of their way to go to the shops to buy a certain spirit that my mum drinks!! Thank you again! (We have also eaten here separately to the party as well and know the food is nice!)

We popped in for hot chocolate. It was late in the day and they were close to closing but still welcomed us. If you're going to have hot chocolate, have the posh one ( see photos ) it tastes as good as it looks. I also had a slice of coffee cake, delish! They do afternoon teas and after this little sample , that is definitely on the cards. The staff were all polite, smart and efficient. The venue is upstairs so has a narrow entrance, find the bright pink sweet shop in the high street turn around and you'll see the entrance.

This was delightful! Hidden away above the shops is a quaint little cafĆ© that boasts traditional English food and quality service. Just perfect for a cold winterās day - warmed by a hot cup of tea, delicious tuna melt and cake. I can thoroughly recommend this place, even if you have to wait on the stairs - itās worth it. I shall definitely be returning!

A lovely place on the first floor. Extremely friendly staff and a great selection of food. We came for some Afternoon Tea : the homemade sandwiches were absolutely delicious, the scones were perfect and the cakes were maybe a little too much by the end but nonetheless great. If one thing could be improved it's the choice of drinks with the afternoon tea (only one type of coffee or tea) but that's only a small note. Would recommend without doubt!

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant with family 5 for a special occasion. The foods were brilliant display and taste delicious, specially in steak and lobster, the prices were good with the quality foods we got. Definitely be back again. Thanks for your attentive customers service. We had a great time!

Went to Brettingtonās to celebrate a special occasion. Food was good but not spectacular. The steak was āmedium wellā instead of āmedium rareā. Noticed it and called the attention of the wait staff. They quickly sent it back and got the order replaced. This time it came out exactly how I wanted it. My only let down was the mashed potato which came out quite stuff. Not creamy like youād expect in a fine establishment. I must add that the king prawn starter is a must have. Very delicious. The staff were also very nice and lovely.

As always, top drawer... Doesn't matter whether I'm popping in on my own for a quick main course after football on a Saturday, or whether I'm in company - the warmth of the welcome from Ruta and her team is only matched by the quality of the food. - the two course lunch menu is extremely good value.

The coffee, service, cakes and atmosphere are great at this independent coffee shop. The ready-made snacks are variable, but don't let that put you off, it's a coffee shop! Also, there's no WiFi, and mobile signal is weak inside, so if you want to have a conversation, this is the place!

Weāve been coming here for months & it is a firm favourite in our household, the coffee is always delicious and the staff are friendly. Itās usually busy, but if you can score a table outside itās great for people watching & dog spotting in the sunshine! Would recommend a visit for sure.

Went here for afternoon tea. Prices around $25/person You get a choice of 6 sandwiches divided into smaller bite sizes for your group and an assortment of desserts and a drink of choice. The service and the atmosphere were great. The desserts were amazing. The sandwiches were not good at all in my opinion. I might just be a picky person but there was so much sauce and they all tasted the same and not different enough. Too much mayo for sure and it just wasnāt my cup of tea at all. I donāt think many Americans would like it. And even my British friend said it had too much sauce. I left and for myself another sandwich at a shop nearby haha but again might just be my personal taste buds.

Went in to Tiny Timās for cream tea (7.5Ā£). There was plenty of seating available- and the staff were full of hospitality and kindness. The tea room has a old school feel- with nicely done interiors. The tea room carried its history with it- and is right next to the Car Park. There is some outdoor seating as well (depending on the weather). The scones were delicious and warm- and the cream and strawberry jam added to its charm. The pot tea was one of the best I have had in a while- was flavourful and delish. The only thing- the crockery looked worn-out and could be replaced (maybe itās because of the old world charm that they were still used). Would visit again. Thanks.

I visited with my family and the first thing we noticed was the lovely ambiance of the restaurant, great choice of music playing. The staff were so attentive and excellent with the children. I started with one of the best Americano coffees Iāve had, followed by the incredible Big Telās breakfast - you have to try it! Excellent choice on the kids menu and we finished off our meal with the delicious fresh cakes. Well done to the team at Tiny Timās - 5 stars!

This place was absolutely lovely, delicious authentic tasting Portuguese food and wonderful service! We went here on a whim on a walk in Upnor and it really is a hidden gem. The atmosphere was lively but cosy. We got free shots before AND after our meal! The House Special is a really good deal because not only do you get one of the massive skewers, you also get olives and starters, 3 sides and a dessert! We had the lamb and the tofu veg skewers and we were absolutely stuffed after everything at the end. It was all deliciously grilled as well. The flaming chorizo was wonderful and fun. The molotof whipped egg dessert was fluffy and delightful. We chatted to the waiter Antonio after and he was so friendly, mature and polite and told us all about the restaurant. We will definitely be coming here again and bringing our friends, it was amazing value for money and the food was absolutely stunning!

Absolutely brilliant, I had the big one burger. It was beautiful. All the burgers were well seasoned and super tasty. All food came out hot and tasting exactly as I imagined. Brilliant service. Would definitely recommend if you want a family friendly restaurant with good food. I didn't get any pics, as soon as it came out it looked so good, I just tucked straight in.

Amazing coffee shop and great for a light lunch. Two staff gave excellent customer service. We had goats cheese and caramalised union toasty, ham off the bone and cheese sandwhich and salmon and cream cheese special sandwhich. Washed down with 3 glasses of fizz. Very reasonably priced at about £10 per head. Very highly recommended and will be sure to visit next time in Rochester. Value for money. Probably best cafe in the town.
