Lovely quiet little village pub right on the edge of many country walks. Sunday roast looks good value for money at £8.95. Dog friendly pub with friendly and welcoming staff. Would recommend 👍🍻(pictures of walk to pub)
We took a walk down to Burham from Bluebell Hill Village and popped into this nondescript little pub for a well earned drink. We could not have guessed that a portion of potatoes and gravy could be Kent's best kept snack secret. When I say delicious, I mean awesome. Proper gravy with meaty bits afloat and roast tatties made with what must be dripping. We went full on Neanderthal and drank the remaining gravy from the pot. Then we spied a couple's full Sunday roast and booked a table immediately. Courteous service. Friendly punters. Can't wait to get back here.
