So happy with the quality of the service. I had a light in the hall that mysteriously went out. I made attempts to fix it by myself, but the light kept going out. The Multicore electrician came out to troubleshoot and discovered that the most likely cause was overloading the transformer. He replaced the transformer with a larger capacity one and a new light and everything works now. This company stands behind their work and are very honest. I will be using them again for any future electrical work.

I had my door lock broken at 11 PM and I couldn’t enter my house when I was advised to call Multicore. In a short time the locksmiths arrived and repaired it. Greatly satisfied with such a high quality service. And the service price was very affordable as well. Highly recommend.

We had Ryan over for a wide range of jobs across several days - installation of new lights and electrical devices externally and internally, fault-finding, remediation and rewiring. He was professional, friendly, bang-on-time every time, left everything tidy, fitted quality parts, and took great pride in his work - explaining everything he was doing clearly and giving options and taking on board our requests. When there was a pre-existing fault that came up towards the end of a day of repairs, he stayed-on to make sure he left us with fully-working electrics before finishing the repairs another day. Knowing a good electrician is a pleasure and I'm glad he's in business in our area; I've recommended to friends and family and would hire again myself.

The rhubarb crumble has a perfect balance between crumble and cooked fruit. Each spoonful melts in the mouth. The apple and sultana pies not only look good but are most delicious. The cheese and onion and mince and onion pies are comforting classics perfect choices for dinner. The home made cakes are mouthwatering choices. The electrics kept tripping and I didn't know why. I called JD Electrics and spoke to Jim mid morning. By 4 o'clock the same day Jim had been, found the fault and got it sorted. Excellent service, fast, honest and knowlegable. He even rang me that night to check everything was OK (which it was). I would thoroughly recommend.

Jim and his team installed a new extractor fan in our bathroom. It was a neat, clean and fuss-free process for a great price. They even worked around faulty hardware to give us a working solution, before returning to fit a replacement, with no extra charge. 100% reccomended.

Fantastic friendly service and a great job! Very reliable, tidy and some great ideas. Turned up on time and when he said he would. At the quote stage, spent lots of time going through various options to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. Even came up with ideas we hadn’t thought of. My hall, stairs and landing lights and sockets all look amazing. We had some smart, dimmer light switches which required contact with the supplier. He just got on with it and got it all working. Had down lights fitted in the soffits at the front of the house. They are all linked into the google home system too! Highly recommended and reliable electrician.

Millrace carried out a full electrical rewire at a property we had recently moved into. The team carried out the work to an extremely high standard and not only rewired the house but upgraded many of the lights and fitted smoke alarms throughout, alongside an extractor fan for the bathroom. The house was also left in immaculate condition despite the extensive disruption caused as a result of drilling through walls etc. I could not recommend Millrace more as a company. They arrive on time and carry out the work accordingly and will explain everything to you clearly in an understandable manner. They also leave the property clean and tidy with minimal disruption.

I have an extremely large fish tank and I had an issue with the electric supply to this which could have been devastating. I called these guys at 2pm Saturday and they arrived within 1.5!hours and fixed it. Life savers

Phoned Matt and told him I had a problem with one light of a pair controlled by three switches, and also an outside security light problem. We arranged a next day visit, when he was punctual, and he checked it out, told me what was the problem which totally surprised me, and fixed it. Then he checked my security light, which I put up over 25 years ago, and put up a new LED type. He was finished within an hour and a half, the price was very reasonable, he offered to come back as and when if the outside light was not set right for us, which it isn't. We would appreciate a visit to make it shine down more towards the house Thank you. Edit:- Matt came round and realigned the light which is now fine.
